Vehicle vs Pedestrian: Kittanning St

20:12: Stations 1 and 99 dispatched for a single-vehicle MVA with injury in the area of 201 Kittanning Street, Butler City. The individual struck something on the roadway and has glass in her mouth. 99-3 is assigned.

20:13: Engine 1-2 and Tower 1 are responding; Control is advising this is possibly a vehicle vs pedestrian.

20:14: Control states this is closer to Portman Road and will be in Butler Township. Station 3 will be alerted.

20:15: Control is also advising there is 1 individual laying on the roadway. 99-3 is requesting the availability of a helicopter. Control advises there’s going to be 2 patients.

20:16: Station 3 is being alerted. EN-1-2 is on scene establishing Command. The helicopter is being requested in the air to the BMH helipad by 99-3.

20:17: Captain 3-2 acknowledges the call and is responding to Station 3.

20:18: 99-2 is on location as well.

20:19: Command is requesting the aircraft in the air again. Control advises it will be Stat MedEvac 3 with an ETA of 15 minutes. The helicopter was en route to their base at UPMC Cranberry, returning from UPMC Presbyterian, and is now diverting to this incident.

20:20: Control now states Stat is expected in 7 minutes.

20:21: Station 3 acknowledges the call.

20:23: Engine 3 is responding.

20:24: EN-3 is to come to Kittanning Street at the railroad tracks and shut it down. Rescue 3 is en route.

20:25: Command is instructing RQ-3 is to take Rt 422 to the Mitchell Hill Rd exit, then come to Portman Rd @ Kittanning and shut it down.

20:26: EN-3 states they’re already on 422; RQ-3 is to go in through the City.

20:28: Stat 3 is on the BMH helipad.

20:29: 99-3 is transporting to the helipad. RQ-3 is on scene.

20:34: 99-3 is out at the helipad.

20:37: EN-3 is out at Portman. EN-1-2 is now having EN-3 take their position.

20:41: Command is transferred to Cap-3-2; City units are back in service.

21:07: Stat 3 is airborne toward their base in Cranberry.

21:16: Stat 3 is on the helipad at UPMC Cranberry.

21:33: RQ-3 is back in service. EN-3 and SQ-3 remain on scene.

00:26: EN-3 is being instructed to proceed down [to the scene?].

00:34: Station 3 units are back in service. The scene has been turned over to Butler Township PD.
