MVA w/ Entrapment: Hooker Road

15:35: Stations 30, 26, and 56 dispatched for an MVA with rollover near 990 Hooker Road in Concord Township. A vehicle is on its side with an adult female and 3 children, unknown if injured.

15:36: Chief 26 is responding to his station. Control is now advising the female adult is out of the vehicle; the children, ranging from 14 months to 4 years, are still inside. C-26 is requesting another ALS unit from Station 99.

15:37: Station 99 is being alerted. Station 56 acknowledges the call(?). Station 30 has acknowledged the call.

15:38: 56-2 is clearing their previous incident and responding; they are asking if there is another ambulance responding and is advised 99-3 is also en route.

15:39: 99-21 and Rescue 26 are en route.

15:41: Units are being advised by Safety 30(?) this will be just through the intersection of Hooker and Seven Hills Roads. There is confirmed entrapment.

15:42: RQ-26 is asking Safety 30 if there’s been any acknowledgment from her station and she states negative. RQ-26 is asking if Station 25 should start an Engine for a suppression piece. Safety 30 states there is a female still trapped in the vehicle, she is not injured; they just need to get her out.

15:44: Engine 26-2 is responding. Safety 30 is now asking Control to alert Station 25 and also advises they now have the female out of the vehicle. Control is asking if Station 25 is still needed and Safety 30 states they can stand down.

15:45: 56 is advised there are 3 pediatric patients.

15:47: 56-2 is on location. SQ-26-2 is being instructed to stop traffic(?).

15:48: RQ-26 is on scene. Rescue 30 is responding.

15:49: C-26 is instructing EN-26-2 to shut down Hooker Road at Seven Hills. Some vehicles are being turned around to come back through the intersection.

15:51: 99-3 is approaching, a minute out; they are to park behind 56-2.

15:52: 99-3 is on scene. EN-26-2 is at the intersection.

16:13: 99-21 is advising Station 30 units there is a school bus approaching.

16:14: C-26 is advising SQ-26-2 that they are moving some vehicles to get the bus through and will need a couple minutes.

16:22: 99-3 is clearing the scene, no transport.

16:23: 56-2 is now in service, returning to Station as well.

16:24: C-26 is advising that the bus is being sent through. SQ-26-2 is then to set flares, and FD will clear the scene, with PSP taking over.

16:26: EN-26-2 is being instructed to open the roadway and return in service.

16:27: Fire Police report a flatbed has arrived. Safety 30 reports the incident is terminated and all FD units are clear.
