Juvenile Drowning: Moraine State Park

13:52: Station 64 dispatched for an Echo response to Moraine Pleasant Valley Beach, 266 Pleasant Valley Road, Muddy Creek Township for a 3 year old who was under water; CPR is in progress as of dispatch.

13:53: Station 64 acknowledges; Station 13 is requested for QRS and they are being toned out now. Brush 13 is responding.

13:54: Station 99 is also being toned out for the call. Possibly a medic assist to 64 but that is not clear. 99-5 and 64-1 are responding.

13:55: Portable-64 is responding directly to the scene. Chief 13 is responding; either he or P-64 is coming up on the beach and is asking where the patient will be located. Control states they should be right at the shore line and someone should be watching for responders; Control also states they’ve taken multiple calls on this.

13:56: C-13 is on scene.

13:59: Control is advising that Ross Rest View has 6 ER doctors on scene at the Pennsic festival at Cooper’s Lake (more info on their site here), if needed. 64-1 and BR-13 are arriving on location.

14:00: The 214 units are being requested to respond. 214 copies and will get a doctor on the road.

14:04: Ross 217-4 is en route with the doctor to Moraine.

14:05: 99-5 is reporting about 4 minutes out; they’re advised that personnel are still working the patient, working on his airway.

14:07: 99-5 is being directed in by the FD personnel on scene.

14:09: 99-5 is on location.

14:10: 217-4 is getting out.

14:16: C-13 is requesting his on-scene time from Control. They have him on scene at 13:56; he advises they are still working the patient.

14:33: 64-2 is requesting the current time from Control.

14:50: There have been no further updates from the scene.

14:52: 99-21 is departing this incident for an Echo response at the Sheetz on New Castle Road in Butler Township (see Facebook post).

15:03: Chief 13 reports they are clear of the scene (all FD units?).

15:26: 64-1 is clear from the scene, but will remain out of service for now.
