20:32: Control is advising 56-1 that an EMT from Station 26 is on scene with a conscious patient, who is altered LOC with a head injury. The EMT is requesting a helicopter be placed on standby.
20:33: C-26 is instructing Control to use the intersection as the landing zone. RQ-26 is arriving on scene reporting 1 male in a field at this time. C-26 is instructing EN-26-2 to take the intersection and see if a helicopter can be landed there.
20:34: EN-26-2 is on scene.
20:36: C-26 is confirming the intersection will work for an LZ. The helicopter is now requested in the air.
20:39: 56-1 is approaching and on scene.
20:43: Stat 16 is airborne from ACHM Kittanning.
20:45: Command is asking which helicopter will be responding and is advised Stat MedEvac 16 with a 12 minute ETA as of 20:36.
20:46: The helicopter has crossed the Armstrong Butler County line into Donegal Township.
20:47: Stat 16 is requesting their LZ briefing reporting 2 minutes out.
20:48: The helicopter is 1 mile south of Chicora Boro.
20:49: The ground crew is reporting they have visual contact on the aircraft.
20:51: The helicopter appears to be on the ground at the LZ now.
20:53: Command is marking the helicopter on the ground.
21:02: Command reports Stat 16 is airborne to Children’s Hospital.
21:07: 56-1 is back in service.
21:17: Stat 16 is arriving on the helipad at UPMC Children’s in Pittsburgh.
