15:55: Stations 3 and 38 alerted to respond with PD to the area of 597 Whitestown Road, Butler Twp, for a truck vs utility pole, pole is down on the truck, power is out in the area, and wires are down. Negative injuries.
15:56: Station 3-2 acknowledges the call. Lieutenant 3 is en route to Station 3.
15:57: Rescue 3 is en route. Captain 3-2 is responding to the scene.
16:01: Cap-3-2 is on location.
16:02: E-38 is on location.
16:03: Engine 3 is responding. Command is instructing them to block traffic at North Woodlawn Road and send traffic down Woodlawn. Control states West Penn Power is being notified now.
16:04: Command is now updating the road closure point to be Whitestown at Lawrence Avenue.
16:05: E-3 is on scene.
16:07: Command is stating he can’t get a pole number; Control states West Penn Power has been notified but an ETA isn’t available right now. Command states to make sure they’re aware Whitestown road is impassable.
16:13: Command states Armstrong and CenturyLink will need to be notified as well.
16:14: E-3 is now instructed to block off Lawrence, then go and block Whitestown at Meridian.
16:18: Control states the both utilities have been notified; there is no ETA from either.
16:19: Command states West Penn Power is now on location. E-38 is available and returning to station.
16:41: R-3 is back in service.
17:34: Station 3 units are clear of the scene; the road closure is being taken over by the power company at this time.
