Female on Ice: Halstead Blvd

15:55: Multiple stations dispatched to 50 Halstead Blvd, near Glick Fire Equipment for a female out on the ice on Connoquenessing Creek.

15:56: Station 22 OK. Chief 300 reports a couple techs responding from their previous call. Asking for Beaver Falls.

15:57: C-21, C-22-3, C-22 to the scene. Station 14 OK.

15:58: C-22-3 is on scene reporting the female is out of the water. Beaver Falls has been alerted but is canceled.

15:59: R-22 is responding. C-21 is asking if Station 21 should proceed in; they are to continue in because the patient is stationary on the opposite side of the creek from Halstead Blvd.

16:03: The patient has a dog with her but reportedly lost another dog in the water; units are going to attempt to look for it.

16:04: Engine 22 is responding.

16:06: Command is advising asking units they should have sufficient resources.

16:07: The R-22 crew is instructed to start back with the Stokes basket; C-22 has not reached the patient yet. He states there should be no need for rope/rigging but EMS should bring their equipment back.

16:08: Six men are headed back with the Stokes; C-22 states they might need a crew at the halfway point as well.

16:11: The patient is reportedly ambulatory and they are going to begin making their way back toward Creekside Plaza. The crew with the Stokes is to continue back “in case something happens.”

16:12: C-22 is advising only the female patient’s legs were submersed in the water.

16:14: 62-4 is on scene.

16:22: Patient is reported out of the woods and back to Creekside Plaza now.

16:24: C-21 reports his units have been released and are back in service.

16:34: Fire units are clear of the incident.
