MVA, Rt 19 @ Ehrman Rd

14:20: Stations 21 and 51 for an MVA with unknown injuries, Route 19 @ Ehrman Road. 51-2 and Chief 21-2 are en route.

Cranberry Township Fire and EMS are alerted for an MVA with unknown injuries on Route 19.

14:22: Rescue 21 is responding.

14:23: Control is advising 51-2 at least 1 individual is unconscious. C-21-2 is on scene with a large debris field, at least 2-3 vehicles involved. 51-2 is asking for another ambulance from Station 62 and for an aircraft on standby.

Control advises there is a patient unconscious. Chief 21-2 is on scene with multiple vehicles involved.

14:24: C-21 is asking for Rescue 22 to be added to the call. 51-3 also responding.

14:25: Stations 22 and 62 are alerted for the call.

14:27: Station 22 acknowledges the call. 62-2 is en route. C-21 is asking which units are en route; Control is advising only 51-3 and 62-2 and Station 22 has acknowledged.

14:28: C-21 is now requesting Station 21 be reactivated for manpower. Captain 22 is en route. Tanker 22 is en route and advises their Rescue will be en route shortly. Station 21 is re-alerted. Chief 22 is responding.

14:29: Engine 21 is responding.

14:30: Two Fire Police units are approaching; Route 19 traffic is to be diverted to Ehrman Road, southbound traffic to divert off the road at Victory Family Church onto Old Route 19; the entire road will be closed.

C-21 is instructing Fire Police to close Route 19 fully.

14:31: Rescue 42 is now requested; Station 42 is activated for the call.

14:32: Rescue 42 is en route.

14:33: Squad 22 is en route. Cap-22 is on scene. Southbound traffic on Route 19 is reportedly closed now and diverting.

14:34: T-22 is on scene; 62-2 is approaching.

14:35: 62-2 and E-21 are reporting on scene.

14:36: Control is advising Stat 3 is on standby at their base, UPMC Cranberry. Command is now canceling the helicopter request.

14:37: R-22 is approaching and instructed to stage behind their(?) engine.

14:40: S-22 is on location.

14:43: R-42 is approaching.

14:44: R-42 is instructed to assist with cleanup; they are now reporting on scene.


15:25: There have been no further updates from the incident; no units have cleared the scene yet.

15:35: Chiefs 21 and 21-2 are proceeding to Route 19 and Glen Eden Road to terminate traffic coming northbound to keep traffic out of the intersection of the incident. 62-2 is clear of the scene. All Station 22 units are now clear along with R-42.

15:39: A FP unit is asking if Route 19 northbound traffic is closed; he is advised they are working on terminating it at Glen Eden Road.

15:49: A FP unit is stating PD have asked him to place cones from the Sheetz exit all the way across 19 but he is out of cones.

15:55: 51-2 is back in service and is releasing McCandless from standby.


17:06: Chief 21 is asking Station 21-2 to respond back to the scene of the crash with Rescue 21; they are to come in non-emergency.

17:10: C-21 is now asking R-21 to bring all of their lighting to the scene. R-21 was about to leave the station.

17:13: R-21 is approaching, they’re instructed to proceed to the intersection of the crash and PD will direct them further.


19:00: Fire Police are being instructed to begin packing up.

19:01: All units are to proceed to Route 19 and Glen Eden to assist with picking up the traffic barriers.

19:04: All traffic is to be held for cleanup at this time.
