06:44: Stations 21, 22, and 51 dispatched to the 82 mile marker of I-79 northbound in Cranberry Township. 51-2 is possibly en route.

06:45: Stations 21 and 22 acknowledge the call. Chief 21-2 is en route to the scene.

06:47: Rescue 21 is en route.

06:52: Engine 22-3 is responding.

06:54: Chief 21-2 is on scene at the 82.4 mile marker northbound with 1 vehicle into the left guard rail, investigating. He is now stating there is a 2nd vehicle involved farther down, on the right guardrail.

06:56: Rescue 21 and 51-2 are on scene.

06:58: Command is now requesting a 2nd ambulance be sent to this incident. Station 51 is re-alerted.

06:59: 51-2 is asking Control to have the second unit standby at the Cranberry hospital rather than committing to the highway at this time, pending further update from 51-2.

07:00: 51-4 is en route.

07:03: 51-2 is now advising Control they will need the second ambulance for transport.

07:08: Engine 22-3 is back in service.

07:15: 51-4 is on scene.

07:18: 51-2 is transporting 1 patient to Allegheny General.

07:19: 51-4 is transporting to UPMC Cranberry.

07:22: Command is advising Control PSP has arrived on scene.

07:31: 51-4 is arriving at Cranberry hospital.

07:49: Fire Police report the first tow truck is approaching now.

07:50: 51-2 is out at AGH.

08:11: Fire Police state they can start picking up cones now.

08:16: I-79 Command is terminated; all units are back in service.
