Rollover, I-79 SB @ 81.2 MM

07:19: Stations 21, 22 and 51 alerted for a vehicle rollover at the 81.2 mile marker of I-79 southbound in Cranberry Township. Reported 1 vehicle overturned. Station 21 acknowledges the call. Chief 21-2 is en route. Station 22 acknowledges the call. 62-2 is advising Control they are northbound on I-79 near the 80.6 mile marker and they are going to turn around and start towards the crash.

07:20: 51-1 is en route.

07:21: Control is now advising responding units an additional call is reporting no injuries and negative entrapment. Rescue 21 and Engine 21-2 are en route.

07:22: Rescue 22 is en route. Chief 21-2 is now reporting on scene and advising the incident can be held to Station 21 only.

07:23: Chief 21-2 states 62-2 can also cancel; the patient is not injured. Engine 21-2 is to return to station, Rescue 21 is to proceed into the scene.

07:25: Chief 21-2 is advising incoming units that patient is out of the vehicle, uninjured, and the car is on the other side of the guardrail off the right shoulder.

07:26: Fire Police units are being instructed by Command to setup at the 81.8 MM and north of there.

07:27: Rescue 21 is on scene.

07:29: 51-1 is on scene.

07:31: Fire Police are stating they are at the 81.8 MM and they are AT the scene, so the other units are to setup at the 81.9 MM. 51-1 is back in service.

07:35: Command reports PSP has arrived on scene.

07:36: Fire Police are stating this may take awhile, the vehicle is pretty inaccessible behind the guardrail.

07:48: Fire Police are stating that the Rescue is getting ready to depart and FP units will have the scene. Charley’s towing is reportedly en route.

07:50: Command is now stating Rescue 21 is clear and Fire Police remain on scene.

07:51: FP units state Charley’s is inbound now.

07:54: FP units are stating Charley’s is calling for a bigger truck to lift the vehicle out.

08:20: Fire Police state the secondary tow is there now and they may need to stop traffic while it gets positioned.

08:37: Fire Police now state the flatbed is ready to depart and they can clear the scene.

08:40: Fire Police are clear of the scene.
