08:47: Stations 10, 9, 1, 35, and 44 dispatched to the BMH Crossroads Campus, 129 Oneida Valley Rd for smoke in the building on the 3rd floor; they’re attempting evacuation but they do have multiple patients on the 3rd floor.
08:52: EN-1-2 is on scene with a 3-story commercial building with nothing evident from the outside.
08:55: Command is reporting pretty good smoke with no source located yet. They’re requesting the 2nd alarm activation.
08:56: 44-1 can stage in the parking lot at this time. Stations 14 26 3 are being dispatched at this time. EMS is being advised they should not need patient warming at this time.
08:57: The source is possibly a steam coolant leak on the boiler system.
08:59: Command is confirming an issue with the boiler. Any units not en route can stand by at this time. Engine 10 is arriving.
09:00: Engines 9 and 10 are to send manpower into the lobby.
09:03: Command has been transferred to Chief 10.
09:04: LR-3 is on location.
09:06: LR-3 can return in service per Command.
09:13: Command reports building maintenance has taken over and the incident is terminated. All units are clear.
