14:26: Stations 15 and 45 dispatched to 106 Miller Road in Clinton Township for a brush fire in the woods.
14:28: 45-3 and C-15-3 are responding.
14:29: C-15 is responding to his station.
14:32: C-15-3 is on scene; no further update.
14:33: C-15-3 is requesting the assignment be upgraded to a structure fire; a 30’x30′ garage is involved. He’s asking who is in the 1st alarm; he needs Stations 27 and 36 for Brush trucks specifically. Station 15 is being instructed to send the Engine first for a working garage fire.
14:34: Control is advising the 1st alarm will add Stations 27 and 36. C-15-3 also requests Stations 288 (full-assist), 289 (UTV), and 16 (Tanker).
14:35: Engine 15 is en route. Stations 15, 27, and 36 are being dispatched for the structure fire. Station 36 acknowledges the call.
14:36: Station 27 acknowledges the call; Chief 27 is responding to his station. Tanker 15 is responding, undermanned, along with (Engine?) 15-2.
14:37: EN-15 is advised it will be the first driveway on the right after turning off Lardintown Rd; they’re to pull a 1¾” line to the A-side of the structure.
14:38: Command is requesting Station 11 for their Brush and Tanker, and Station 42 for their Engine for manpower.
14:39: Lt-36 is advising Command that their Engine is out of service; they’re to roll the Ladder first in lieu of it.
14:40: Stations 11 and 42 are being dispatched. Captain 15 is asking Command if he wants the Brush next or another Engine; he wants the Engine. Station 15 is reporting 1 man on station.
14:41: Command is advising all units that the garage is now fully-involved on the A/D-side.
14:42: TN-15 is approaching, requesting orders; they’re to stay on Miller — they’re going to (hand jack a 4 line?) up to the Engine and hit it with the deck gun.
14:43: Engine 27 is responding.
14:44: Freeport Station 70 and Harrison Hills Station 169 are now requested (for full responses?).
14:46: Tanker 11 is en route. “Charge the bumper line!”
14:47: BR-27-2 approaching; they’re to take the driveway right at Miller and Lardintown — there’s at least an acre on fire up there. LR-36-2 is approaching, but Command states he won’t be able to get them up; they’re to stage by TN-15 and send their manpower to Command. EN-15-2 is also approaching; they’re to pull up past TN-15 and get ready to offload their water.
14:48: Station 70 acknowledges the call, but will be delayed from a prior incident. LR-36-2 and EN-15-2 are on scene. Station 16 is being alerted for their Tanker.
14:49: Lt-36 is requesting Station 169 be placed on standby in his Station, but Control advises they’re already on the assignment. Lt-36 requests (the next due Station?) from Allegheny instead. BR-27-2 is on scene. TN-15 wants all Tankers to approach off Lardintown Rd. Wagon 70 is responding.
14:50: EN-27 is to stage behind LR-36.
14:51: EN-27 is on scene. Someone is requesting a UTV into the woods, it is getting bad. EN-15 is being told they’re out of water from the Tanker.
14:52: Command wants BR-27-2 to come to the top of the driveway to get into the wood line; they’re stating, “We need an Engine to this house, we’re losing it.” EN-15-2 is being sent.
14:56: TN-15 is asking if Station 10 is on the assignment yet; they are not, but they’re now requested for their Engine to fill tankers in Saxonburg Boro and Tanker 10 to the scene.
14:57: 169-Engine is en route. Station 10 is being dispatched.
14:58: Station 10 is being instructed by TN-15 to grab a hydrant at the Plantation on Freeport St to fill tankers; all tankers are approaching from Lardintown.
14:59: Command is now requesting Station 10 for their UTV and Tanker to the scene; he’s also asking what other UTVs/side-by-sides are on the road. Control is advising there has been no acknowledgment from 16; he’s getting a Tanker, UTV and Brush from Station 289, Engines from 288 and 169, and whatever Station 10 brings. Command is possibly asking about another Station, but was walked on.
15:00: “Engine 15, I’ve got water coming at you guys.”
15:01: Command is still requesting EN-10 if they have a crew for it.
15:03: 169-EN is requesting orders; they’re to hit Lardintown Rd then Miller and stage at the intersection.
15:04: (Warden?)-27 is asking Control to notify the DCNR. Tanker 10 is en route.
15:05: Command is asking for South Buffalo Station 220 for their UTV/side-by-side; they’re to come to the well pad off Westminster Rd. SQ-10 is to come in to the well pad with their UTV, as well.
15:06: Control states they have DCNR on the line asking what is needed from them and the size of the fire. At least one state crew is requested. 220 needed for UTV.
15:07: Command is asking Control to confirm if both Fawn and Middlesex Townships were added. Control states Fawn was not, and Middlesex has not answered. Command is requesting UTVs and Tankers from Fawn 1 and 2 (Allegheny Stations 150 and 151).
15:08: Squad 10 is en route with UTV-10.
15:15: Command wants the owner of the gas compressor station on Westminster Rd notified that they need to start emergency shutdown; the fire is almost to their compressor. Control is asking if he knows which gas company and is asked to hold.
15:18: Control identified the owner but needs a good contact number.
15:23: Tanker 16 is responding. 168-EN is out at Station 36, standing by.
15:24: Control is advising Command that Allegheny Station 150 said they’re not sending their whole department and is asking if he wants anyone else. There is no immediate response.
A source has informed this site that at this time, Station 151 possibly wanted to hold in quarters to provide coverage in their own area while 150 was providing a full-assist.
15:28: Station 3 is requested by Command to standby for the southern part of Butler County.
15:30: C-15 is taking the direct phone number for the gas well owner so he can speak with them.
15:31: EN-10 reports they’re setting up at a hydrant on Freeport Street.
15:34: Units are asking Command if he can get a Brush truck up 112 Miller Rd; the fire is pushing up toward houses there.
15:37: Control is advising that Station 160 has offered their UTV and Brush truck.
15:38: Stations 160 and (2??) needed, TN-290 can respond also.
15:45: TN-16 is on scene at the well pad.
15:48: Station 27 is to be realerted for the Tanker.
15:55: (Cap?)-150 is reporting their UTV will be up to the side of the structure. They’re to work back into the woods for fire containment.
16:05: Tankers needed (to the well pad?); they’re completely out of water there.
16:06: Three Tankers are being diverted to the well pad.
16:07: Control is asking Command to confirm EN-10 is at the fill site; there’s another brush fire (there?).
16:08: Station 3 is to cover the new brush fire along with 168-EN, which was on standby at Station 36(?). It is on Freeport St just down the road from the fill site.
16:10: BR-3 is responding to Freeport St.
16:11: The fire is contained near the well pad. (They’re not to reenergize anything until they speak with Command on scene?).
16:14: Someone is out with the newly reported brush fire stating it looks like someone was burning leaves in their front yard.
16:56: Units are cleared to begin returning to their respective stations if they have nothing left to pick up.
17:10: Station 70 units are clear and returning to Armstrong County.
17:17: TN-16 has been released by Command.
17:29: The well pad sub-command is terminated; all units have been released from there.
17:52: Station 220 is back in service.
17:53: The fill site is cleared to break down.
17:54: Station 42 units are back in service.
18:04: Station 289 is back in service.
18:05: EN-10 is clear of the fill site.
18:13: Station 36 has been released by Command and is returning to their Station.
18:15: Station 3 has been released from standby.
18:19: Warden 27 is requesting a (UTV and chainsaw?) past the well pad to the head of the fire.
