Structure Fire: Saeler Lane

17:23: Stations 35, 9, 10, and 44 dispatched to 122 Woodbine Ln, Oakland Twp, for a report of some type of fire in a trailer. Control was unable to call the caller back due to poor phone reception. Station 10 acknowledges the call.

17:24: Station 44 acknowledges.

17:25: Lieutenant 9 is acknowledging the call for his Station. Chief 35 is responding to the scene. Control is advising there was a poor phone connection, but a male could be heard saying something about a fire and a trailer, but there was no answer on callback.

17:26: Station 9 acknowledges.

17:27: Control is updating the address to 115 Saeler Ln, which is off Bonniebrook Rd. Engine 10 and Tanker 10 are en route.

17:28: 44-2 is responding.

17:30: Engine 9 is en route. EN-10 is advising C-35 they have a (large header?) from the side of Rt 422. EN-9 is asking to confirm the address, and Control is reiterating 115 Saeler Ln, off Bonniebrook.

17:32: EN-9 is asking if there are any units are on scene and is advised there are none. They want the second alarm started, as they have a header visible from Rt 68 @ Grant Ave. C-35 is on location; Control is asking to confirm if he wants the 2nd alarm started.

17:33: C-35 is reporting 1 trailer fully-engulfed, pretty much on the ground with a motorhome close to it, and there is no access to it from the driveway. He is requesting the 2nd alarm for at least Tankers.

17:34: Stations 26, 14, and 3 are being dispatched; Station 26 acknowledges. Engine 35 is responding. EN-9 is approaching; C-35 states they’ve got a “real cluster” as far as getting a truck in. He’s going to come back out and meet EN-9, and they’ll try to drag a hose in. EN-9 is to start back the driveway but not get themselves blocked in.

17:35: Rescue 3 is responding. EN-9 is asking if they’re to proceed back; C-35 states to turn around and come in backwards. C-35 is going to grab a hose off the back of them and try to start pulling it into the scene. Tanker 35-2 is en route.

17:36: EN-10 is on location. C-10 is advising C-35 that BR-10 is responding if there are access issues. Rescue 35 is now responding. EN-10 is asking if they’re to proceed back the lane or stage on Bonniebrook. Brush 9 is en route.

17:41: EN-35 is on scene.

17:42: No other Engines can fit back to the scene. Road needs to stay clear for TN-35-2 to stage.

17:46: TN-35-2 is to come front-end-first down to EN-9.

18:23: At the 1-hour benchmark, Command states they still have a lot of hotspots to work on.
