14:25: Squad 98 is advising Station 99 that he is at the Penn Township fire station, if they’d like him to respond. They’re stating “that’s OK.” 99-2 is responding.
14:27: 99-2 is requesting the closest helicopter on standby; Control is advising right away that LF-4 is standing by at their base at the Butler Airport.
14:28: Rescue 11 is en route.
14:29: Control is advising the EMS units that PD is on scene and they do believe the aircraft will be needed.
14:30: 99-21 is asking Control to confirm SQ-98 is responding to this incident. Control states that’s affirmative.
14:31: SQ-98 is being canceled by 99-21 as 99-21 is responding with their ambulance, but SQ-98 advises he’s about to pull on scene.
14:32: SQ-98 is on location confirming 1 male down on the ground.
14:33: RQ-11 is on scene and is reminded LF-4 is on standby.
14:35: RQ-11 is asking 99-2 their location; they report they’re 4 minutes out from the scene.
14:36: SQ-98 is reporting the male is altered LOC. 99-2 is asking Control to advise LF-4 they’ll be utilized. 99-2 is being instructed to pull into a driveway.
14:37: 99-2 is on location.
14:44: C-11 is directing SQ-11, who is clearing the previous MVA on Rt 8, to go to the airport and ensure the gate is open for EMS arrival.
14:52: 99-21 is asking Control to notify LifeFlight that they’ll need (blood products?). There’s no estimate when they’ll transport yet.
14:57: SQ-98 is clear of the scene and out of service for decontamination.
15:00: Command is terminated; all fire units are clear of the scene. 99-2 is out with LifeFlight.
15:16: LF-4 is airborne to Pittsburgh.
15:28: The helicopter is arriving on the helipad at Allegheny General Hospital.
