18:45: Stations 15 and 45 dispatched for a motorcycle MVA with unknown injuries in the area of 123 Neupert Rd, Jefferson Twp. The caller was unable to locate the rider and believes they’re over a hillside. Chief 15-3 is responding to his station; Station 45 acknowledges the call.
18:46: Chief 15 is responding. Station 15 acknowledges the call.
18:48: Control is alerting all units that an additional call reports they’ve located the rider. He is not alert with an obvious head injury, face down and unresponsive.
18:49: C-15 is on scene.
18:50: C-15 reports the patient is conscious and talking at this time; he is assessing further. RQ-15 is en route.
18:52: 45-2 is on location. Control states LifeFlight 4 is standing by with a 10 minute ETA.
18:53: RQ-15 is to setup for one-lane traffic; they are approaching now.
18:54: C-15 is instructing his station to setup an LZ at their station. He is requesting the helicopter in the air and states the field at the scene is too muddy.
18:55: Control states LF-4 has been dispatched.
19:00: LF-4 is still at their base at Butler Airport.
19:05: LifeFlight is airborne.
19:08: LF-4 reports 1½ minutes out and is requesting an LZ brief.
19:09: The ground crew has the helicopter in sight.
19:10: 45-2 is out at the LZ.
19:12: LF-4 is on the ground at Station 15.
19:31: Control is inquiring about the helicopter’s destination; it will be going to Allegheny General Hospital.
19:33: C-15-2 reports LF-4 is airborne to Pittsburgh.
19:36: 45-2 is clear but will remain out of service at this time.
19:45: LF-4 is arriving at AGH.
21:09: Station 15 is clear of the scene.
