MVA w/ Rollover: Freshcorn Rd

15:37: Stations 21, 22, 19, and 51, along with Squad 98, dispatched for an MVA with rollover on Freshcorn Road, just north of Kingston Avenue. One vehicle on its side, reportedly about 20 yards off the roadway.

15:38: Stations 22 and 21 acknowledges the call. Chief 21-2 is en route.

15:39: All units are advised the caller called back now reporting one patient entrapped. Rescue 21 is responding. Engine 42 reports they have a crew on station in Seven Fields and is offering assistance; they are to standby for additional calls.

15:40: SQ-51 and Engine 19 are en route.

15:43: RQ-22 is en route.

15:45: C-21-2, C-21, and 51-3 are on scene. C-21 is confirming 1 vehicle about 15 feet off the road, in the woods, on its side, with 1 person still inside.

15:46: RQ-21 is on scene. Vehicle needs stabilized.

15:49: SQ-19 is responding.

15:52: Traffic on Freshcorn Rd is to be turned around on both sides of the incident.

15:53: EN-19 is on location. They are to assist EMS; EMS is on the way back to the ambulance for their stretcher now. Freshcorn Rd is closed at Kingston Ave and Glen Rape Rd now.

15:57: Command is marking patient extrication complete.

16:02: SQ-98 is on scene.

16:03: SQ-19 is on location. Control is advising Command of a vehicle fire in their area.

16:04: Station 19 units and C-21 are responding to the vehicle fire; C-21-2 has Command of the Freshcorn incident.

16:05: C-21 is asking Station 42 if they still have an Engine crew; they state they’re already on the road.

16:06: EN-42 is reporting en route to the vehicle fire.

16:07: Patient is reportedly in the ambulance and about to be transported.

16:16: Station 22 is back in service.

16:18: RQ-21 and C-21-2 are clear; the remainder are waiting for the vehicle to be removed from the woods.

16:27: The tow is getting ready to leave.

16:30: All units are clear of the scene and in service.

16:41: 51-3 is out at Allegheny General Hospital.
