15:39: Multiple units requesting aircraft on standby.
15:41: Cap-3 on scene with Command. Patient still on the roadway.
15:42: LF-3 on standby. 24 minutes.
15:43: C-3-2 on scene. Command now requesting the aircraft in the air to the BMH helipad.
15:46: C-3 and 99 unit on scene. 99 having trouble getting through traffic; they’re advised to park as close as possible and bring up their stretcher.
15:50: LF-3 is airborne from the Indiana Regional Medical Center.
15:52: 99-4 is transporting to the helipad.
15:56: Command requests the bus company be notified Dutchtown is closed.
16:02: 99 us at the LZ.
16:03: LF-3 is crossing the Armstrong-Butler County line just south of the Winfield-Clearfield Township line.
16:05: Helicopter is passing into Summit Twp.
16:06: 99 is requesting an ETA on the helicopter; they are making sure they won’t need to take the patient into the ER.
16:08: LF-3 is on the helipad.
16:11: LF-3 is outbound from BMH. A Stat MedEvac helicopter is landing now.
16:12: LF-3 remains in the area, circling.
16:13: Stat is now outbound from the helipad.
16:16: LF-3 is now back on the ground.
16:30: 99-4 reports LF-3 will be airborne to AGH.
20:32: This incident is now being terminated; all FD units are clear. A PSP helicopter remains, circling over the scene at this time.
21:00: Multiple sources have indicated to this site that the driver involved in this incident fled the scene, and the PSP helicopter is involved in the search/investigation. The vehicle was found, abandoned, at Cypher’s Tree Farm on Wise Road. The helicopter remains in the area at this time.
