Student Struck at Bus Stop: Slippery Rock Boro

07:17: Stations 33 and 52 dispatched for a pedestrian accident at the intersection of Vincent Road and Franklin Street in Slippery Rock Boro. A female student was struck by a school bus. She is awake but bleeding from the mouth as of dispatch. Station 52 acknowledges the call.

07:18: 52-1 is responding and is requesting air medical be placed on standby. Chief 33 is responding to the scene.

07:19: 52-1 is on scene.

07:20: C-33 is on location.

07:21: C-33 is asking Control to see if SRU PD can provide a car for traffic control.

07:24: Engine 33-2 is responding. They are to shut down the road at the intersection of Franklin St and Grove City Rd, per Command.

07:25: Captain 34 states he is on the east side of the accident. Control is now advising Command that both air services are unavailable due to weather.

07:26: EN-33-2 is on scene.

07:32: Cap-34 is advising Command SRU PD are on scene there and he is clearing.

07:36: 52-1 is transporting to Children’s Hospital. Command is instructing EN-33-2 to reopen the road and is reporting Station 33 back in service.
