17:30: Stations 27, 36, and 70 dispatched to the Sarver TrueValue, 551 S Pike Road, Buffalo Township, for a multi-vehicle MVA with 3-4 cars with possibly 1 that struck a building. Contacts on scene are telling me there are 3 cars, but it is unclear if a building was actually struck. There was initially a report a skid loader was involved, but it was likely in passing.
17:31: Freeport 70 unavailable; Control is asking 45 and they’re also out of units.
17:38: EN-27 responding; Control advises they’re still working on an EMS unit.
17:39: 70-4 is now responding.
17:41: EN-27 is on location.
17:43: 70-4 is on location. Control advises the next available EMS unit if needed is Lower Valley out of Allegheny.
17:44: Units are to close the road at the Giant Eagle entrance.
17:47: Command is now advising he does not need an additional EMS unit.
17:53: Command is now requesting another ambulance to the scene. 45-1 states they’re able to respond with an extended ETA.
18:07: 45-1 is approaching; they’re advised their patients are near the 2nd entrance to Giant Eagle.
18:08: 45-1 is on scene.
18:10: 70-4 is transporting to Presby.
18:19: Command terminated; FD units are back in service.
18:27: 45-1 is clear of the scene with patient refusals.
