Motorcycle Crash: N. Washington Road

18:59: Stations 30, 32, and 55 (EMS) dispatched to the area of 829 N. Washington Road in Washington Township for a motorcycle into an embankment; the rider is unconscious, breathing, and bleeding from the head. This will be just west of the Route 38 intersection in North Washington.

19:00: 55-4 is responding.

19:01: 55-4 is requesting the status of air medical.

19:04: Squad 32 is en route. 55-4 is advising them to put the helicopter in the air if they think it is needed. Second alert for Station 30 due to no acknowledgment.

19:05: Control is advising Stat MedEvac 8 is on standby with a 13 minute ETA if needed. 55-4 is asking Control to coordinate with the FD to determine LZ; Control states the Rodeo Grounds will be the closest.

19:10: Fire Police 30 is on scene.

19:11: Control advises 55-4 the Trooper on scene is requesting a helicopter. 55-4 is about 4 out.

19:12: SQ-32 is on scene. Control is advising the helicopter will be Stat 8, 13 minutes to the Rodeo Grounds.

19:14: SQ-32 is en route to the LZ from the scene.

19:15: 55-4 is on scene.

19:17: Engine 30 is en route. Stat 8 is airborne from their base at the Grove City Airport (29D).

19:21: Stat 8 reports 3 minutes out requesting an LZ brief.

19:27: The helicopter is on the ground at the LZ.

19:38: Stat is clear of the LZ, en route to Presby.

19:46: Station 32 is clear.

19:57: The helicopter is arriving on the helipad at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.

20:35: EN-30 is back in service; incident terminated.
