MVA w/Entrapment: I-79NB, Worth Twp

23:00: Stations 33, 24, and 52 dispatched for an MVA with unknown injuries near the 101 MM of I-79 NB. Multiple calls reporting a vehicle into the bridge.

23:02: C-33 and Station 24, with 1 firefighter, acknowledge the call. Control is stating unknown entrapment.

23:08: Per Control, an additional call reports at least 1 injury; there is now also a report from another caller that a 2nd vehicle struck the original vehicle, causing a secondary MVA. Chief 24-3 is on scene.

23:09: C-24-3 is now reporting 2 vehicles involved, with 1 in the middle of the road, and is confirming entrapment.

23:11: Command states the door will need removed from the vehicle with entrapment.

23:12: 52-2 and RQ-24 are on scene. Units are being instructed to close both lanes of the northbound direction of travel.

23:13: BR-24 and TR-33 are going to close the roadway at the emergency turnaround.

23:14: Command is advising all occupants are out of the second vehicle, with no injuries.

23:15: Command is marking patient extrication complete.

23:16: EN-33-2 is on location.

23:20: TR-33 is on scene.

23:43: Control is chucking the status of 52-2; they report they’ve been en route to Grove City Hospital ~12 minutes.

23:50: 52-2 is out at the hospital.

00:16: Units are being instructed to reopen the Interstate.

00:17: Station 33 units are back in service followed by Station 24 units. Incident terminated.
