14:31: Station 27 is being toned out. Chief 15 is responding. Chief 27 is en route to his station. 45-1 is requesting the availability of an aircraft. Squad 15-2 is responding.
14:32: 45-2 is now responding as well.
14:33: 45-1 is on location and is confirming entrapment; the motorcyclist is under the front of a Dodge truck.
14:34: Control is asking if the helicopter is to be dispatched or placed on standby; 45-1 is stating they can standby. C-15 is arriving and establishing Command.
14:35: 45-1 states patient is conscious. They need airbags to lift the vehicle.
14:36: 45-2 is approaching from Neupert Road. Engine 15 is now clearing a previous call and is responding to this incident.
14:37: 45-2 is reporting on scene. Engine 27 is en route.
14:39: Rescue Captain 27 is on location. Per Control, Stat MedEvac 16 is standing by with a 10 minute ETA, if needed. Command is advising EN-27 that the patient is now out from under the vehicle. The road is to be shut down at the animal hospital.
14:40: Station 15 states they have personnel on station if needed. They are to bring in Rescue 15 to establish a Landing Zone somewhere on the Concordia property. Butler is to dispatch the helicopter.
14:41: EN-15 is approaching from Winfield Road; they are to park behind 45-2. Per Control, Stat was given the address of 188 Marwood Road for an LZ. Command states that will work for now and he’ll advise once it is established.
14:42: The next unit in is being instructed to close the roadway. EN-27 is reporting on scene.
14:43: EN-15 is on location. Control is stating the responding helicopter will be Stat 8, with a 19 minute ETA. RQ-15 is to go toward the sewage plant to meet Concordia maintenance to figure out an LZ.
14:44: Control is advising that the 188 Marwood Road address is a predesignated LZ; Command states he will redirect RQ-15 to that location.
14:46: RQ-15 is asking Control if Saxonburg PD are on duty today and they are; they are requested to go to Water Street in Saxonburg for a possible incident (MVA?). Unclear.
14:47: Stat MedEvac 8 is airborne from their base at the Grove City Airport (29D).
14:50: Stat is crossing the Butler County line into Butler near the Worth and Slippery Rock Township line. RQ-15 is reporting on scene at the landing zone; 45-1 is now transporting the patient there.
14:53: The helicopter is passing just northeast of Lake Arthur.
14:55: 45-1 is out at the LZ. The helicopter is now ~2 miles northwest of the Clearview Mall.
14:57: The pilot is now requesting his LZ brief reporting 3 minutes out.
15:00: The helicopter is ~½ mile northeast of Penn United.
15:01: The LZ has visual contact on the helicopter.
15:02: Stat 8 appears to be on the ground at the LZ.
15:15: 45-1 reports Stat is en route to UPMC Mercy.
15:20: 45-1 and RQ-15 are clear of the landing zone.
15:24: EN-27 is being instructed by Command to open 1 lane of the roadway to tractor-trailers ONLY at this time.
15:28: Stat 8 is arriving on the helipad at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.
15:39: 45-2 is clear of the MVA.
15:54: Units are being instructed to let tow trucks through, then shut the road down.
16:13: Station 27 has been released by Command and is back in service. Command is also now reporting Station 15 units are clear and the incident is terminated.
