Tractor-Trailer vs Car w/ Rollover: I-79NB

22:33: Stations 33, 24 and 52 dispatched to the 101.4 mile marker of I-79 northbound in Worth Township. Multiple calls are reporting a tractor-trailer and a passenger car involved in an MVA with the tractor-trailer rolled on its side. The truck is double box-trailer style. Unknown injuries. This is approximately 2 miles north of the Route 422 junction, near the West Park Road bridge.

22:34: 52-2 is responding. Station(?) 24 acknowledges. Chief 33 is responding to the scene.

22:35: C-33 is asking if there are any reports of entrapment and is advised there is no confirmation of that; all callers so far have been passerby.

22:36: C-33 requesting Control notify PennDOT of possible interstate shutdown. C-24 is responding to the scene.

22:38: EN-33-2 and 52-1 responding.

22:39: RQ-24 en route.

22:40: EN-24 responding.

22:41: C-24 is on location, out investigating.

22:42: RQ-24 is advised this is just before the overpass. All units responding are advised negative entrapment; all occupants self-extricated.

22:43: 52 units are being advised of 2 patients, but there is no word on their condition.

22:44: C-33 is being asked to position as a blocker. RQ-24 is approaching and is to investigate for fuel leaks. C-33 is recommending EN-24 hold up at about the 100.6 MM and move traffic into the fast lane.

22:45: 52-2 is on scene. Tower 33 is responding. RQ-24 is on location.

22:47: EN-33-2 is to setup for lighting at the scene; 52-1 is to pull in near the other ambulance. EN-24 is on location for traffic control.

22:48: Control states a message was left for PennDOT and they are awaiting a callback at this time. A representative is to be sent out; the slow lane will likely be closed for an extended period of time.

22:49: EN-24 reports they have traffic moving into the left lane at the 100.6(?) MM. EN-33-2 is on location.

22:51: 52-1 is on location.

22;52: 52-1 is advised their patient is on the guiderail.

22:53: Per Control, a representative from PennDOT will be out.

22:56: TR-33 is to pull in behind EN-24.

23:05: 52-2 is transporting to Grove City Hospital.

23:10: 52-1 is transporting to Grove City as well.

23:17: TR-33 is being instructed to open it up for now.

23:25: C-33 is asking if the PennDOT foreman gave an ETA; Control states none was provided. C-33 states the interstate is being closed and traffic is going to have to divert off to Rt 422.

23:26: 52-2 is out at GCMC.

23:27: Control is advising C-33 that PennDOT provided an ETA of about 30 minutes.

23:29: 52-1 is out at the hospital.

23:30: Control is confirming that PennDOT has been notified to not only divert traffic off to 422 but to close the on-ramp as well.

23:59: Command is instructing EN-24 to clear the scene and move to the Route 422 junction to verify when PennDOT gets it closed, both the highway and the ramps.

00:11: EN-24 is at the junction and is advising Command they are closing the roadway until PennDOT arrives.

00:12: EN-24 is reporting I-79 is shutdown at Rt 422.

00:13: TR-33 is reporting to Command they have the interstate shut down where they are as well.

00:23: C-33 is asking Control to mark PennDOT arriving on scene now.
