Male Found Under Tractor: Hartmann Road

22:50: Stations 22 and 62 dispatched to the area of 535 Hartman Road, Jackson Township. A caller is reporting a 66 year old male trapped under a large tractor, unknown life status.

22:52: Chief 22 and 62-6 are responding. Caller is advising units to use 535 Hartman Rd, but the actual address is 529, back a very long driveway. Someone will meet first responders.

22:53: C-22 is asking for Station 20. They are being toned out now.

22:54: Patient was reportedly last seen approximately 2 hours ago.

22:55: 62-4 is also responding at this time. Station 20 acknowledges the call.

22:56: Chief 20 is responding.

22:58: 62-6 is on scene. Rescue 22 is responding.

22:59: Rescue 20 is en route. C-22 is on scene heading back the long lane. The caller’s phone is reportedly pinging quite a distance from the driveway. Engine 22-2 is responding.

23:00: Units are to stage on Hartmann at Mark West and await further orders per C-22.

23:02: C-20 on scene.

23:03: C-22 is confirming the correct driveway and advising the driveway will not handle the large apparatus. He is advising to use Squads at this time. Squad 22 is en route.

23:04: C-22-3 is asking C-22 if there are specific equipment needs. C-22 is advising to standby at this time.

23:05: C-22 is confirming he is with the caller. RQ-22 is on scene. C-22 is on scene with a small, compact tractor rolled over on its side with 1 occupant pinned under a retention bar.

23:06: RQ-22 is staging, also asking what equipment is needed.

23:07: C-22 is asking for 1 Squad unit and EMS back to the scene; all other units are to stage on the roadway. SQ-22 states they’ll be on scene is about 2 minutes. RQ-20 is staging.

23:09: Command is being advised tools are being sent back.

23:10: EMS is asking Command where they are in reference to the ambulance and is getting directed in.

23:11: SQ-22 is on scene.

23:16: Command is requesting a come-along and chains from RQ-22. They’ll need a vehicle sent back out to them as the apparatus cannot make it.

23:17: Command is being asked if the additional EMS crew is needed; he states negative, the patient is DOA and they’ll be awaiting the coroner.

23:25: 62-4 is back in service from the scene.

23:32: 62-6 is now also clear from the scene.

23:39: Command is advising RQ-22 they are coming back for additional equipment. A family member is with RQ-22 and Command states they are good to proceed back with the rest of the family to the PD car.

23:46: Command is being advised the coroner has arrived at the beginning of the lane.

00:18: Command is releasing any unit which has all of its personnel and equipment. He states they’re beginning to break down and will be leaving shortly.
