13:44: Stations 24 and 64 dispatched to North Shore Drive in the area of Nealey’s Point for a motorcycle MVA with 1 male reportedly down on the ground.
13:46: Second alert for both stations due to no acknowledgment. The address is now given as 356 North Shore Drive. The male is now reportedly altered level of consciousness with severe neck pain.
13:47: Station 64 acknowledges and is requesting an ALS unit from Station 52. Station 52 is being alerted.
13:48: Station 24 acknowledges the call.
13:49: 52-1 is responding.
13:50: 64-2 and Rescue 24 are en route.
13:51: Control is advising the caller states this will be just past the water treatment plant, before Park(?) Road.
13:53: Brush 24 is responding.
14:00: BR-24 is asking 64-2 if they’ve located anything; they have not and state they are almost to the Lakeview Beach area and people continue to say it is back toward the water treatment plant.
14:01: Per Control, Park Rangers are on scene advising it is 500′ past the water treatment facility. RQ-24 is asking BR-24 if they’ve checked near McDanel’s Boat Launch.
14:03: 64-2 is out with the Rangers. They’re advising RQ-24 to come past Watts Bay and past the water treatment plant, they’re on the righthand side of the road.
14:04: RQ-24 is on scene.
14:05: RQ-24 is requesting a helicopter in the air. Control is asking where the landing zone will be and is not getting an immediate response.
14:06: 52-2(?) is on scene. They’re confirming the helicopter is needed and stating they’ll determine an LZ.
14:07: RQ-24 is instructing BR-24 to establish the LZ at the marina.
14:08: BR-24 is now being instructed to move the LZ to the Lake Shore Beach area (probably the Lakeview Beach area).
14:09: Per Control, LifeFlight 4 will be inbound with an ETA of 12 minutes.
14:16: BR-24 is advising Control the LZ is being setup in the parking lot of the North View Beach (Lakeview?).
14:17: LF-4 is airborne from their base at the Butler Airport.
14:19: The LZ is reportedly established now.
14:21: 64-2 is en route to the LZ.
14:25: 64-2 is out with BR-24 at the landing zone.
14:26: Pilot has visual on the LZ and is requesting their briefing.
14:29: Per BR-24, the helicopter has landed.
14:39: The pilot is advising he will be departing to the north.
14:40: BR-24 states the helicopter is in the air and the LZ is terminated.
14:44: RQ-24 is reporting Stations 24 and 64 back in service.
14:45: 52-1 is also reporting back in service.
14:58: LF-4 appears to be on the helipad at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
