MVA w/ Injury: Brownsdale Road

23:25: Stations 11 and 99 dispatched to the area of 219 Brownsdale Rd, Penn Twp for a 2-vehicle head-on MVA with at least one patient reportedly bleeding from the head.

23:26: Chief 11 is en route.

23:28: 99-4 is responding.

23:29: Captain 11 is on scene establishing Command.

23:30: Command is asking how many ambulances are en route and is advise only 99-4.

23:31: Command is requesting 3 additional EMS units. There is negative entrapment but some “pretty good” injuries. He is also advising they will need 2 wreckers. Station 99 is advising they can provide 1 additional unit. Rescue 11 is responding.

23:32: Stations 76 and 45 are being alerted for 1 unit from each service. 99-2 is en route.

23:33: 76-1 is responding.

23:35: RQ-11 is on scene. Squad 11 is en route.

23:36: Station 45 is asking Command to confirm the number of patients. He is now advising “most” appear to be minor injuries.

22:37: Control is advising that PD are requesting EMS units access the scene from Route 8 to Brownsdale.

23:39: 45-1 is responding.

23:41: 99-4 reports less than a mile out, requesting orders.

23:43: 99-2 is approaching; they’re just to pull in behind the other ambulance(s).

23:45: 99-2 is on location.

23:48: 76-1 is on scene.

23:51: 45-1 is approaching.

23:54: 45-1 is now reporting on scene.

00:03: 76-1 is transporting 2 patients to BMH.

00:04: 45-1 is transporting 1 patient to BMH.

00:09: 99-4 is en route to BMH, ALS.

00:13: 99-2 is transporting ALS to BMH.

00:19: 45-1 is out at the hospital.

00:20: 76-1 is out at the hospital.

00:29: Command terminated; Station 11 is back in service.
