Vehicle into Woods: Oneida Valley Rd

10:30: Stations 30, 26 and 56 dispatched for an MVA with unknown injuries in the area of 1327 Oneida Valley Rd, Concord Twp. 1 vehicle into the woods.

10:31: 56-1 and Rescue 26 are responding.

10:32: Station 26 acknowledges the call.

10:34: Chief 30-3 is asking if there has been acknowledgment from his station and his advised there has not been. Engine 26 is en route.

10:38: RQ-26 is now checking for acknowledgment from Station 30 as well and asking C-30-3 if they are to come in from Hooker Road or Old State Road; he’s advising probably Hooker Road. C-30-3 is responding by POV with a slightly extended ETA. RQ-26 will be turning onto Seven Hills Road shortly.

10:39: C-30-3 is asking RQ-26 if their second unit can come in off Old State Road for coverage from both ends. He’s asking Control if there has been any update on injuries and is advised there has been only 1 call so far with unknown injuries.

10:40: EN-26-2 is asking C-26 if they are to come off Zion to Old State and he states affirmative. He says once they come to Rt 38, make the right and head north.

10:44: 56-1 is on scene and is requesting Control check the availability of air medical.

10:46: EN-26-2 is approaching from the south, requesting orders. 56-1 is instructing them to pull in the driveway of 1327. The vehicle has gone probably 50′ off the roadway and they have not yet seen the car or made contact with the patient at this time. RQ-26 states they will be approaching from the north. They’re also to pull into the driveway but their instructions were unclear.

10:47: EMS is advising SQ-26 crews will need a chainsaw at the scene as well.

10:48: RQ-26 is reporting on scene; they’re taking the driveway and confirming 1 vehicle off the roadway at this time. C-30-3 is arriving as well.

10:50: C-30-3 is instructing all units on scene to send minimal manpower to the vehicle.

10:51: 56-1 states the helicopter can stand down. C-30-3 is instructing Lieutenant 26 to bring their MVA bag down and disconnect the vehicle battery; they’re working on access to the hood now.

11:02: C-26-2 is asking if someone has dropped flairs at the top of the hill from the North Washington side; they have not but are instructed to do so.

11:14: Traffic controllers are being instructed to hold all traffic for the ambulance.

11:16: Traffic control units are now stating they’re going to begin clearing out soon. Command is now terminated; Stations 26 and 30 are back in service. The scene has been turned over to PSP and 56-1 remains on scene with Troopers at this time.

11:32: Station 30 has been requested to return to the scene of the MVA to close the roadway for PSP.

11:36: Second alert for Station 30 followed by their acknowledgment.

11:38: Brush 30 is responding.

11:45: BR-30 is on scene.

11:57: 56-1 has been released by PSP and is back in service from the scene.

12:35: Traffic control is ongoing at the scene as of this time.

13:09: C-30-3 is now terminating the incident.
