07:26: Station 99 dispatched for a Delta response to a residence on Eagle Mill Road, Connoquenessing Township, for an 8 year old female fall patient with a head injury, vomiting. Station 99 acknowledges; 99-4 is assigned.
07:30: Control is asking Station 99 for the status of a unit en route to Eagle Mill Road. They state they are checking on that now.
07:31: Station 62 is being alerted to cover the call; they’re advised Station 99 has acknowledged but doesn’t have a unit en route. The patient is reportedly altered level of consciousness.
07:32: 99-2 states they are responding in place of 99-4; they’re advised the patient fell from bed and is ALOC.
07:33: 62-6 is responding but is now canceled by 99-2.
07:34: 99-2 is requesting an aircraft on standby.
07:37: Control states Stat MedEvac 8 is the closest available helicopter and they are standing by with a 14 minute ETA if needed. 99-2 will advise.
07:43: 99-2 is on scene.
07:51: The helicopter is now requested in the air to the nearest available landing zone. Station 12 is requested for a ground crew.
07:52: Station 12 is alerted for the LZ.
07:54: Chief 12-3 acknowledges and is responding directly. Control states they are giving the Farm Show Airport as the LZ.
07:56: Per Control Stat 8 will now be 15 minutes.
08:00: Rescue 12 is responding. Stat 8 is airborne from the Grove City Airport.
08:03: Stat 8 is attempting to contact the ground crew now.
08:05: 99-2 is transporting to the airport.
08:06: C-12-3 is arriving to setup the LZ.
08:10: The helicopter is on the ground at the Farm Show.
08:11: 99-2 is out at the airport.
08:20: Care has been transferred and the helicopter will be airborne to Children’s Hospital in a minute.
08:24: Stat is airborne from the Farm Show.
08:26: Station 12 back in service per Chief 12-3.
08:36: Stat 8 is arriving on the helipad at UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh.
