16:54: Stations 10 and 99 dispatched for a single-vehicle MVA with 4 people reportedly injured near 991 Herman Rd, Summit Twp.
16:55: Chief 10-2 is responding to the scene. Station 10 acknowledges the call.
16:56: 99-2 is en route.
17:00: Rescue 10 is responding. C-10-2 is on location with 2 vehicles involved, both off the roadway. He is updating the location to 1001 Herman Road.
17:01: Engine 10 is en route.
17:02: RQ-10 is approaching and is instructed to pull in behind the Command vehicle. Command is requesting another ALS unit to the scene. Control states there are 2 en route and asks if a 3rd is needed.
17:03: Command is now stating 2 ambulances will be fine. EN-10 is being instructed to slow traffic and is now reporting on scene.
17:05: 99-2 is approaching; they’re instructed to pull in between the Station 10 apparatus. They’re advising there are 2 units with them.
17:06: 99-2 and 99-3 are on location.
17:19: Command states EMS is requesting the nearest available medical helicopter to Station 10. EN-10 is going to return there to be the ground contact.
17:21: 99-3 is back in service with a patient refusal.
17:22: Command is advised LifeFlight 4 will be inbound with an 8 minute ETA.
17:25: 99-2 is transporting to the landing zone.
17:27: EN-10 is out at the LZ.
17:29: 99-2 is out at the LZ.
17:30: LF-4 is airborne from the Butler Airport.
17:31: Command states all units are clearing the scene, but Station 10 remains committed for the landing zone.
17:33: LF-4 is requesting his LZ briefing reporting about a minute and a half out.
17:34: The ground crew is reporting visual contact on the aircraft but the pilot states he’s still looking for them.
17:35: The pilot has the LZ in sight and will be orbiting to land.
17:37: LF-4 is marked on the ground.
17:52: LF-4 is reportedly airborne en route to Allegheny General Hospital. 99-2 is reporting back in service; care has been transferred to LifeFlight.
18:07: The helicopter is arriving on the helipad at AGH in Pittsburgh.
