Brush Fire: McJunkin Road

13:04: Stations 32, 31, and 55 EMS dispatched for a brush fire, 156 McJunkin Rd, Venango Twp.

13:15: Station 31 units arriving with a working woods fire.

13:17: Commander 31 is asking which units are responding here and is advised 31 and 32; he is now requesting Station 30.

13:19: BR-31 is on scene.

13:20: Control is advising Cmdr-31 that Clintonville has been requested for this incident and is asking if he copied the second call.

13:21: Station 55 is requested to handle the second call and Station 33 is requested to start toward this call. Control states they’ll call Venango but it sounds like Emlenton FD is on their own incident. Cmdr-31 also requests Station 25.

13:22: Stations 33 and 25 are toned out for the call.

13:29: Units are now responding from 33; a tanker is requested from 34 and a unit from Mercer(?) 85.

13:33: Forestry/DCNR requested. Fire spreading rapidly.

13:34: 85 unavailable, 77 responding instead. Additional UTVs requested.

13:44: Station 8 added for a tanker. Station 34 also instructed to roll their tanker first.

13:45: Tanker 8 is en route.

13:46: Station 14 toned out for assistance.

13:50: Chief 33 is requesting Station 13 standby with their brush and UTV while Slippery Rock units are tied up.

13:53: Brush 14 responding.

13:54: Brush 34 and Station 9 units are en route.

13:56: TN-33 and other units are arriving.

13:57: Station 13 units are responding.

13:58: Tanker 25 is en route.

14:02: TN-34 is on location.

14:05: TN-33 is approaching with Clintonville units.

14:09: BR-14 is approaching; they are advised there is a lot of hand work at the originally dispatched address.

14:11: TN-8 is instructed to send their manpower down to the original address.

14:13: BR-14 is reporting on scene.

14:14: TN-8 is on location, asking if Armstrong 250 is available for standby.

14:15: Squad 9 is responding and reports Brush 9 is out of service.

14:26: Armstrong 250 units are en route to fill Lick Hill’s station.

14:47: TN-25 is leaving this incident to respond to the Clay Township fire.

14:49: BR-33 back in service(?).

14:56: Station 39 units are back in service.

15:07: TN-8 is returning to station and is advised 250 units are there. TN-8 will advise when they can be released.

15:17: 55-3 reports they’ve been released by Command.

15:24: Water supply is to begin breaking down.

15:29: TN-8 is now releasing Station 250 from standby.
