20:27: Stations 33, 34, 13, 14 and 52, along with Ladder 1 and Mercer Stations 85 and 95, dispatched for an automatic fire alarm that is now upgraded to a possible structure fire, 1 Vineyard Circle, Building 600, in Slippery Rock Township. This was originally a second floor pull station alarm; a caller is now reporting there is smoke in the hallways.
20:28: Station 14 acknowledges the call. Station 33 units are clearing a tree down call and responding.
20:29: Tower 1 is en route. Station 13 acknowledges the call. 52-2 is responding.
20:30: Engine 34 and Squad 34 are responding.
20:32: Engine 13 is en route. Chief 33 is asking Control to relay to Mercer 85 and 95 to send their trucks.
20:33: Engine 14-2 is responding.
20:34: 52-2 is on location with a 3 story apartment complex reporting nothing evident from the exterior.
20:36: 52-2 is advising all units that security is reporting heavy smoke on the 2nd floor. C-33 is asking them if they were able to access the building’s Knox Box.
20:37: E-33 is on scene, stretching an 1¾” line to the 2nd Division; Chief 33-2 has Command.
20:38: Tower 33 is en route.
20:39: E-34 is on location; they are instructed to lay in from the hydrant. Interior crews are reporting no visible flames, the fire is out. There is a smoke condition. E-34 is asking if they are still to lay in and they are told negative.
20:40: Command is having responding units downgrade to non-emergency at this time.
20:41: C-33-2 is holding the incident to units on scene. S-34 is arriving.
20:59: Station 33 is advising Command of 2 additional firefighters on station; they are instructed to standby.
21:01: Command terminated; all units are back in service.
