01:47: Station 26 alerted by request of PSP for an MVA near the NexTier Bank in Chicora, 130 Hummingbird Plaza; there is a single vehicle into a pole, possible DUI, and the pole appears to be coming down.
01:49: Control is checking for acknowledgment from Station 26; Chief 26-2 is responding. Control advises an additional caller reports the pole is sheared, there doesn’t appear to be any wires down, and there is no one in the vehicle.
01:50: Station 26 acknowledges the call.
01:53: Station 26 is requesting a re-trip for more manpower.
01:54: Rescue 26 is en route.
01:56: R-26 is on location.
01:58: C-26-2 is on scene.
01:59: C-26-2 is instructing Squad 26(-2?) to go on the far side by Pizza Joes to do a lane closure; there are wires down and they will have to go through the Friedman’s parking lot. They are to stop coming up the hill and put up flares and a sign.
02:01: Lieutenant 26-2 is asking Control to notify West Penn Power and Armstrong of the sheared pole with wires down.
02:02: L-26-2 states this is a high-voltage line with wires down on the roadway, and the road is confirmed closed.
02:19: Control is advising that both utilities have been notified but no ETA was available for either.
02:25: An ETA of 1.5-2 hours is now given for West Penn Power.
05:11: C-26-2 is reporting Station 26 units are clearing this incident; he is possibly stating West Penn Power remains on scene conducting traffic control. There were no other updates from the incident.
