Male w/ 3 GSWs: Brandywine Dr, Cranberry

00:24: Station 51 is alerted to start toward 570 Brandywine Drive; Control states they are still obtaining additional information from the police.

00:25: 51-4 is responding; Control advises this will be a patient with multiple gunshot wounds. One to the chest and one to the right leg.

00:27: Control is advising they have spoken with Stat MedEvac and Stat 3 is NOT available at their base at UPMC Cranberry. If EMS would like, Stat can start Stat 16 in that direction.

00:28: 51-4 advises to put the aircraft on standby and show 51-2 en route as well.

00:30: Control states that if needed, LifeFlight 4 is in the area, leaving AGH*. Asked for an ETA for PD, 51-4 states they are 6 minutes out.

00:33: Control is now stating the male patient has three (3) GSWs; 51-4 is 30 seconds out.

00:34: 51-2 is reporting en route and is asking if EMS has been cleared into the scene; Control states affirmative, the scene is secure. 51-4 is now reporting on location.

00:35: 51-2 is requesting air evacuation. Control states they will call LifeFlight.

00:36: Control is asking if the helipad at Passavant Cranberry will be the landing zone and it will be.

00:38: Control states the aircraft will now be LifeFlight 5, and they have an ETA of 7 minutes. This helicopter has just departed AGH**.

00:40: 51-2 is now reporting on scene; Control states whenever they get a chance, PD are requesting evaluation of the female half of the incident.

00:45: 51-4 is transporting the patient to rendezvous with the helicopter. Control advises they should be approaching shortly.

00:49: 51-4 is out at the UPMC helipad.

00:50: LF-5 appears to be on the helipad in Cranberry.

00:51: Station 62 is added to the call to assist Cranberry PD with evaluation of a female.

00:53: Squad 98 is added to the call to assist 62.

00:54: 62-2 is responding, asking if the nature of the evaluation was given and Control states nothing was specified. S-98 is also en route now.

00:55: Control states the police have the female at 514 Brandywine.

01:03: S-98 is on location.

01:13: 62-2 is on scene.

01:16: 62-2 and S-98 are both back in service.

01:25: LF-5 is airborne to Pittsburgh.

01:35: The helicopter is arriving on the helipad at Allegheny General Hospital.

01:49: 51-2 is back in service but states 51-4 is to remain out of service for decontamination at this time.


*LifeFlight 4 actually just departed Butler Memorial Hospital at 00:28, where they had arrived shortly after midnight for a transport unrelated to any scanner activity. They are currently southbound near the Butler Airport.

**LifeFlight 5 had transported a suicide-by-hanging patient from the Butler Prison to AGH, departing the BMH helipad at 23:53 and arriving at AGH at 00:09.
