Chimney Fire: Royal Oak Drive

10:46: Stations 11, 16, and 99 dispatched for a chimney fire at 164 Royal Oak Drive in Penn Township.

10:47: Station 11 acknowledges the call; Chief 16-2 is en route to his station. 99-4 is assigned to the standby. Chief 11 is responding.

10:48: Control is advising that a second caller reports the roof is on fire.

10:49: A neighbor has now reported flames visible from the area above the garage. 99-4 is responding.

10:51: C-16-2 is asking C-11 if he wants their Ladder or Rescue; C-11 asks if they have a tanker.

10:52: Station 11 is also requesting T-16 but Station 16 advises their Tanker is out of service; their Engine is requested first, then, and they reply they will send their Rescue. Station 16 acknowledges the call.

10:53: Control is now advising that police are on scene with a working fire. Engine 11 is responding, requesting the second alarm.

10:54: Stations 3, 15, 20, Tanker 10, and Tanker 241 are added to the call.

10:55: Stations 3 and 15 acknowledge the call; Rescue 3 and Ladder 3 are en route.

10:56: Rescue 16 is en route.

10:57: Stations 10 and 20 acknowledge the call. Engine 15-2 is responding.

10:58: E-11 is on location. Control states PD have advised a hand line is needed to the 2nd floor.

11:00: Station 16 is advising C-16-2 of 1 man on station; he is instructed to respond with the Utility truck. Tanker 10 responding.

11:01: Tankers 15 and 20 are en route.

11:04: Station 3 units are approaching.

11:05: Command is holding this incident to Stations 11, 15 and 16 only.

11:07: L-3 and R-16 are reporting on location.

11:09: Engine 15-2 is approaching; they are instructed to send their manpower to Command.

11:12: Interior crew is reporting extension into the wall of the 1st floor.

11:15: Squad 15-2 is approaching.

11:18: Interior crew states another hand line is needed on the 1st floor.

11:26: Command is requesting a remote disconnect from the power company.

11:30: Per Control, Penn Power has been notified and should complete the remote disconnect in 5-10 minutes; they will have a crew responding as well, but no ETA was provided.

12:59: R-16 is asking Control to have their police department meet them for fuel.

13:04: Command terminated; all units are back in service.
