11:56: Stations 3 and 38 dispatched to the area of 242 Greenwood Drive in Butler Township for a small generator trailer that flipped over and is spilling fuel. There is a small waterway below where it rolled over. Station 3-2 acknowledges the call.
11:57: Engine 38 is responding.
11:58: Rescue 3-2 is en route.
12:02: E-38 is on location reporting this is at the intersection of Greenwood Drive and Route 422.
12:04: E-38 is asking R-3-2 what their spill capacity is and is advised approximately less than 50 gallons. R-3-2 is asking E-38 for an estimate of how much fuel is spilled and is advised that is undetermined at this time.
12:05: Command is requesting 10-04(?) bring the spill trailer or for the HAZMAT team to be notified. Control states 10-04 is out of the area on a detail so Team 100 will be alerted, and they are now activated for the call. R-3-2 is approaching, requesting orders, and is advised the roadway will need closed, there is heavy traffic. Personnel are needed at the bottom of the hill and spill material is needed at the scene. They are instructed to pull in front of the pickup truck.
12:06: R-3-2 is on location.
12:09: R-3-2 is asking Control to re-alert Station 3 for an additional small apparatus to assist with traffic.
12:10: Second alert for Team 100 due to no acknowledgment.
12:15: Command is asking Control to see if the Township road department can provide road closed signs on Greenwood between 422 and Eberhart.
12:18: Control is asking Command to contact them by phone, but Command states they are on the phone with a HAZMAT Team member at the moment and Control states that is what they needed to discuss. There has been nothing from Team 100 on the scanner yet.
12:34: Squad 3 is responding.
12:35: R-3 is instructing S-3 to shut down Greenwood completely at Benbrook.
12:42: S-3 is on location.
13:07: E-38 is back in service. Station 3 units are still on location and Greenwood Drive remains closed.
13:29: Station 3 units are back in service, but the roadway remains closed for an extended period for HAZMAT cleanup.
