MVA w/ Rollover: I-79 SB near 422 Exit

07:33: Stations 33, 24, and 52 alerted for an MVA with rollover and injury on I-79 southbound just before Exit 99 to Route 422.

07:35: 52-1 is responding.

07:37: Engine 33-2 is en route.

07:38: Second alert for Station 24.

07:40: Control is advising E-33-2 of no acknowledgement from Station 24.

07:41: Station 24 acknowledges the call. A unit is reporting on location with 2 patients, at least 1 with minor injury for possible transport. He is confirming 1 vehicle rolled over but no entrapment and states they are near a bend and will need traffic control.

07:43: Rescue 24 is responding.

07:46: The individual on scene states the ambulance can pull in front of the tanker truck that is there, the overturned vehicle is in front of that. There will be some cleanup for fire units but no fluids on the roadway. Tower 33 is responding.

07:47: E-33-2 is on location.

07:48: 52-1 is on scene. R-24 is to hit the turnaround at the 104 MM, turn and come southbound and stop just short of the turn at the 100 MM.

07:50: C-33 is instructing T-33 to shut down the slow lane near the bridge on the interstate. R-24 is to setup as a blocker between the Station 33 apparatus.

07:51: C-33 is asking Control to contact PSP to get tows started so units can clear off the interstate ASAP. An SUV will need a flatbed tow and another tow is needed for a passenger car.

07:52: C-33 is also requesting the traffic advisory board be updated by PennDOT to show a crash at the 100 MM.

07:54: Control is advising that PSP and PennDOT have both been notified.

07:58: R-24 is clarifying their instructions; C-33 states they are to stage between T-33 and E-33-2 just prior to the bend.

08:01: R-24 is on location.

08:09: 52-1 is transporting to Grove City hospital.

08:35: No further updates from this incident yet.

08:38: 52-1 is out at the hospital.

08:53: Command terminated; all units are clear.
