17:30: Station 64 is reporting an MVA just west of the Portersville Fire Station on Route 488. Car vs pole with pole and wires down. Control states they are getting some calls on it now.
17:31: Stations 24 and 64 are alerted for the call.
17:32: Station 24 acknowledges the call.
17:33: 64-2 is on location.
17:34: 64-2 is advising Station 24 this is right at the end of Brenneman Road and traffic will need stopped; no one can get around. Station 24 is asking about entrapment and 64-2 states everyone is out of the vehicle, the car is into the pole and wires are down. Chief 24-3 is on location.
17:36: Rescue 24 is responding. C-24-3 instructs them to drop someone off at Brenneman to turn traffic around.
17:37: Brush 24 is now instructed to turn traffic around at the fire hall.
17:38: R-24 is on location.
17:53: Control states the power company has been notified and gave the standard 1-2 hour ETA.
17:57: Command states there are phone and cable lines down across the road and the road is closed until the power company can make it on scene.
18:05: 64-2 is back in service with patient refusal.
18:20: Control is asking if wires and the pole are down or just wires. Command states the pole is sheared and there are wires down.
18:34: R-24 is advised the crew from the power company is incoming at this time.
18:40: A tow truck is now reported inbound.
19:13: Command states the power company will be wrapping up shortly; PennDOT is requested to the scene to assist with cleanup on the road.
19:31: Lieutenant 24 is advising C-24-2 that a PennDOT crew is arriving now.
19:44: C-24-2 is instructing units to begin one-way traffic.
20:45: Brush 24 is back in service.
20:47: Station 24 is clear of the incident; the roadway is reopened.
