23:32: Structure fire response dispatched to the area of Goehring Rd & Dorsay Valley Drive; a caller from 9635 Goehring reports a possible house fire down the road. Multiple calls.
23:33: 51-2 is en route. Station 21-2 acknowledges the call.
23:34: Rescue 42, Chief 41, and Engine 21-2 are responding.
23:35: Control is advising all units that PD are in the area reporting a large amount of smoke. Engine 19 and Chiefs 21-2 and 42 are en route.
23:36: 51-3 is also responding as a second EMS unit. Control is now updating the address to 9534 Goehring Road per PD, and it is a fully involved house fire.
23:38: C-19 is asking C-21 if there are hydrants in the area and is told there are; Control also states PD confirm a hydrant at the intersection of Goehring and Preserve Valley Drive. E-21-2 is on scene with a fully involved house, operating defensively, pulling a 300′ line.
23:39: Engine 21 is en route.
23:40: Control states they have not copied an acknowledgement from Station 20 yet. C-21 is on scene assuming command. This is a 2-story single family dwelling, fully involved. Station 22 acknowledges the call.
23:41: Ladder 22 is responding. FP state they are closing Goehring fully because the hydrant is across the street. E-19 is on scene, second due engine, laying in from the hydrant at Preserve Valley. 51-2, C-21-2 are on scene. E-21-2 is advised water is coming.
23:42: E-22-3 responding.
23:43: 228-Truck is en route. E-21(?) is instructed to charge the 400.
23:44: E-21 is to stage on Goehring for water supply. 51 units are to setup rehab at the Command post. R-42 is arriving. Fire Police are closing the road at Marshall Road.
23:45: E-19(?) is asking for water; it is coming now.
23:46: Beaver Station 26 is reportedly not available. All units advised to stay clear; there is structural collapse. There is also reported electrical arcing in the back and West Penn Power needs to be notified.
23:48: Beaver Engine 26 is now responding. An Allegheny County Engine is responding.
23:49: 228-Squad-1 is on location.
23:52: 228-Truck is on scene. C-42 is advising Command they have live electrical on the Charlie/Delta corner and the lines are apparently underground. Command states the power company has been notified. Allegheny 185-E-2 is on location.
23:54: Safety 1 is advising Command they have full roof collapse on the Bravo side and the Alpha side is not far from going; all personnel have been advised of restrictions. C-41 is to take Operations per Command.
23:55: 228-Chief is on location. E-21 operator instructed to charge another 2½” line and states “it’s coming.”
23:56: The E-21-2 operator is being asked how many lines they have going right now and he states they have 3 2½” handlines operating.
23:58: E-21-2 is being asked to shut down the red 1¾” line(?). Tanker 20 is on scene. C-21 is asking Control to notify Cranberry Twp water they will be using a large amount of water.
00:00: Command is asking someone to work on lighting around the building. E-21-2 is now instructed to shutdown one of their lines.
00:02: E-21-2 now instructed to charge a 2½” line. Command is asking if everyone is ok, he heard a large explosion. Someone else states they have full collapse of the Charlie side wall, and all crews are accounted for.
00:04: Command is advising Safety that the 228 crew is setting up their RIT on the Alpha side.
00:06: Replacement crew needed for E-21-2 per Safety.
00:08: All units are advised that PD have made contact with the homeowners who are out of town and state there should be no one inside the residence.
00:11: Someone is stating they have half the roof out of the way.
00:13: Command is asking Control to see if Allegheny County can get Berkley Hills to fill his station.
00:15: C-42 is advising Command he is sending a line to the Alpha/Delta corner to reach heat from the chimney and front room.
00:22: E-21 is being instructed to shut down a line.
00:24: The power company crew is approaching the scene per FP units. E-21 crew is to report to rehab per Command; E-26 is to relieve them on the Charlie side.
00:25: The Safety officer is advised by Command to circle the fire grounds and send everyone through rehab.
00:28: E-21 instructed to send water on a 2½” line. Command is advised the power to the structure is now off. Safety now reports all crews have been relieved.
00:29: The 2½” line is reported charged.
00:32: Command is asking Control to have the PSP Fire Marshal call him.
00:33: The other half of the roof has been removed from the Charlie side of the structure. No other resources are needed there; they are working hot spots with hand lines.
00:35: Control states the Fire Marshal has been notified and should be calling C-21 shortly.
00:37: Safety states the 185 crew has been relieved from the Alpha/Bravo corner. FP state a camera crew has arrived.
00:38: FP are instructed to keep the media crews away from the scene at this time.
00:43: Two 2½” lines are being shut down.
00:47: 51-3 is clear of the scene.
01:00: Lieutenant 21 states they are trying to reposition to get into the basement. Command is instructing them to hold off on entry; they state they are not trying to enter, just get a better angle.
01:03: Safety is asking Command for another crew to the Alpha/Bravo corner to relieve the 185 crew.
01:05: There is still fire under part of the roof and it is not accessible from the Charlie side. Safety states they are working on that.
01:06: Allegheny Engine 247 is on Station 21.
01:09: Command is back from speaking with the media and is advised 26, 185, and 228 units are all being dismissed.
01:10: T-20 is back in service.
01:12: An 1¾” line is being shut down to be reconnected to foam.
01:15: The E-21-2 operator is being asked to increase pressure on an 1¾” line.
01:16: Operations is telling Safety there’s still fire under the collapsed roof but it is walled in and he doesn’t think there’s anything they can do to get to it. Safety states the 42 crew is still working in that area. Ops says another possibility might be to get on the roof of the garage they opened and spray down in from there but he’s not sure if that’s feasible.
01:17: E-21-2 is now being asked to shut down a 2½” line.
01:19: Operations states L-21 is going to try to get a 2½” onto a foam discharge on the rear of the apparatus.
01:20: L-21 is advising C-42 he can get the line hooked up to foam if they shut down for a minute. C-42 says it is a good time to do that and they are shutting down.
01:22: C-42 is ready for water and is also getting foam now.
01:24: Allegheny 228 and 185-E-2 are clear of the scene.
01:26: C-21-2 is advising C-42 they will hit a hot spot on the Delta side of the roof from the Charlie side. L-21 is asking Operations if they still need Station 51 for their rehab setup; Ops states they still have about 15 people working and Station 51 is to stay a little longer.
01:30: FP state they have people who live on Preserve Valley wondering if they go around
