Car vs Pole: Knoch Road

20:22: Stations 15 and 45 dispatched for a car that struck a pole with unknown injuries in the area of 117 Knoch Road, Clinton Township. The pole is reportedly on fire and a transformer is blown. This is between New Life Christian Ministries and Route 228; Control has received multiple calls. Station 45 acknowledges the call.

20:23: Chief 15 is responding. Control states a male is reportedly out of the vehicle, running up and down the road, and a better location is 120 Knoch Road.

20:24: 45-3 is responding.

20:26: C-15 is on scene at 128 Knoch Road. An argumentative male can be heard in the background. 45-3 is also arriving.

20:27: C-15 is relaying a North Pittsburgh Telephone pole number to Control; he states a high power line is down and the pole is broken.

20:29: Control is checking for the best address again; Command states this is just before 120 Knoch Road.

20:30: Rescue 15 and Squad 15-2 are en route.

20:32: R-15 is approaching and is instructed to setup for one-lane traffic.

20:34: Units are now instructed by C-15 to close the roadway fully; there are power lines on both lanes.

20:36: Squad 15 is responding. PSP is coming in from Ekastown Road now.

20:40: Control states the power company has been notified and gave their standard 1-2 hour ETA; the phone company did not give an ETA.

20:41: Engine 15 is on scene. Command is advising EMS there was airbag deployment.

21:13: West Penn Power has arrived on location.

21:15: 45-3 is transporting the patient to BMH.

21:23: C-15 is advising Cap-15 that the West Penn Power crew has determined these are not their lines.

22:37: Command is advised another utility crew has arrived.

01:08: Command terminated. Station 15 is back in service.
