House Fire: W. Cooper Street, SR Boro

22:39: Stations 33, 34, 14, and 52 dispatched along with Tower 1 and Mercer Stations 85 and 95, for a structure fire, originally reported at 211 West Cooper Street in Slippery Rock Borough. A caller is reporting flames from the side of a house.

22:40: Tower 1 is en route. Control is correcting the address to 311 West Cooper Street. Station 14 acknowledges the call.

22:41: 52-3 is responding. Lieutenant 33 and Chief 34 acknowledge the call and are en route to their stations. 52-3 is now on scene reporting working fire.

22:42: 52-3 is reporting possible entrapment; there is a vehicle in the driveway, heavy fire. Tower 1 is passing Bon Aire.

22:43: Engine 33-2 is en route.

22:44: E-33-2 is laying in from Elm and Cooper, Chief 33-2 has Command.

22:47: Engine 34 is en route.

22:48: T-1 is approaching from Route 8. Engine 14(-2?) is responding. E-33-2 is advised water is coming from the hydrant. A Mercer Station 85 unit is responding.

22:50: Rescue 14 is responding.

22:51: Command is marking the fire under control.

22:55: 64-1 reports they are out with Station 52. Engine 95-2(?) is en route.

22:56: E-34 is approaching; they are to pull in behind Tower 33 and provide their manpower to Command. E-34 now reporting on scene.

22:57: Squad 14 is responding.

22:58: Engine(?) 85 is on scene.

22:59: E-14-2 and E-95-2 are on location.

23:00: T-1 is on scene. Interior crews report heavy smoke and they are backing out.

23:01: A second interior crew is being sent.

23:02: R-14 is on scene.

23:08: S-14 is on location.

23:23: Chief 33 is on scene and asking Control if University PD can shut down Cooper Street at Elm Street.

23:24: Command is asking for the PSP fire marshal to the scene as soon as possible.

23:26: Control is advising C-33 the fire marshal should be calling him by phone momentarily.

23:33: Command is now stating all occupants are accounted for and units are working on overhaul.

23:44: Command is advising the interior crew they will be losing water as their supply is switched to the secondary engine.

23:47: Interior crews are advised they should have water again. C-33 is asking for a progress report.

23:48: Interior crews are reporting a light haze on the 1st Division.

23:49: Interior crews are now asking Command to send a crew to the basement from the exterior access; they are still getting heavy smoke pushing in and it appears to be coming from the basement.

23:54: Command is relaying a West Penn Power pole number to Control and asking for a crew to respond as soon as possible.

00:01: Control states WPP gave the standard 1-2 hour ETA but did complete a remote disconnect, so power should be off now.

00:18: 64-1 is clear of the incident.

00:28: The hydrant is being shut down.

00:55: C-33 states the incident can be terminated, but he remains on scene with the Fire Marshal now.

00:57: T-1 is clear of the scene.
