10:09: Chief 31 and Lieutenant 25-2 acknowledge the call. Chief 14-2 is responding.
10:11: Lieutenant 25 is responding to his station. Control states all occupants have reportedly evacuated. Station 99 acknowledges the call but requests Control send it to the next due EMS. Chief 25 is en route to his station. Station 52 is activated for the standby. Station 25 acknowledges the call and confirms smoke from the structure.
10:12: C-25 is requesting ladder trucks from Stations 26 and 33. Station 52 acknowledges the call. Stations 26 and 33 are toned out.
10:13: Chief 31-2 is responding to his station. Station 33 acknowledges the call. Second alert for Station 30. Lieutenant 30 is en route to his station. Captain 25 is en route to the scene.
10:14: Chief 26 is responding to his station. 52-2 and Chief 30-3 are en route to the scene.
10:15: Portable 25-1 is telling C-25 he’d better start a second alarm and C-25 advises Control to do so. P-25-1 states there is smoke coming clear from the back of the residence through the front.
10:16: Second alarm has been activated – Stations 35, 32, 28, and 34 are added.
10:17: Engine 25 is on scene. Lieutenant 33-2 and Captain 35 are en route to their stations. Station 32 and Chief 34 acknowledge the call. Tanker 31 is responding.
10:18: Lieutenant 35-2 is en route to his station. Ladder 26 is responding.
10:19: Chiefs 35 and 35-2 are responding to their station. Station 28 acknowledges the call.
10:20: Station 25 units are asking which apparatus to roll next; Command is not responding at this time.
10:21: Tower 33 is en route. Engine 13 en route.
10:22: Tanker 32 is responding.
10:23: Command is advising the responding EMS unit they have patient with burns to the face. 52-2 acknowledges. Tanker 30 will be en route shortly. Command states he needs an engine for water fill.
10:24: T-30 is now en route. Command wants a dump tank on Main Street; they have made entry through the back door and have heavy smoke. Incoming units to prepare to enter the front.
10:25: Chicora to the front door to stretch a line. Fire appears to have started in the back; has spread to the basement. Engine and Tanker 34 are responding.
10:26: Tanker 33 en route. Command states everyone is out of the apartments. E-33-2, T-33 en route.
10:27: E-14-2 on scene, stretching a line through the front door. Tanker 28 and Rescue 31 are en route.
10:28: Tanker 13 en route.
10:29: Squad 14 is responding. Interior crew is advising Command the fire is out in the kitchen area, they need to get to the basement, there is smoke or flame coming through the floor.
10:31: Engine 35 and Tanker 35-2 are responding. 52-2 is on scene. Control is asking if another EMS service should be dispatched.
10:32: Command is advising the patient is in a residence across the street. 52-2 will advise Control if another unit is needed. Units advising Hall Road is slick.
10:33: T-30 needs to turn around to back into the portable tank. Squad 31 en route.
10:34: Station 56 activated for standby. T-33 to setup for roof ops when they arrive.
10:35: L-26 is on scene.
10:38: C-14-2 is urgently requesting a line through the rear of the structure into the kitchen.
10:39: Units are pulling line back, possibly backing out of building. Command recommended to evacuate the structure by C-14-2 on the interior.
10:40: Units are backing out now.
10:41: West Penn Power requested. PAR checks for accountability.
10:46: E-32 to setup fill site, 2 dry hydrants on Hallston Road(?).
10:47: Station 34 units are on scene.
10:49: T-28 on scene. Control asking T-28 to advise Command West Penn Power is en route.
10:51: Chief 33 is requesting units to his station for standby. Command is asking Oneida Valley if they have a tanker. T-35-2 is now reporting on scene.
10:52: Two fill sites are apparently operating at this time.
10:54: Control advises Station 83(?) has been notified for the standby for Station 33.
10:55: Units are ready for water; a 5″ line is being charged.
10:58: “Heavy fire from the Bravo side.” Lines needed to the Bravo side. West Penn Power now on scene.
11:01: 56-1 is approaching.
11:02: C-33 is asking which tankers are coming; Control states all that were en route are on scene already.
11:03: C-33 is telling Control to get the next 3 tankers and Station 29 for their rehab trailer. Roof failure on the Bravo side, possibly Delta-Charlie corner. A collapse zone will be setup.
11:05: C-14-2 asking for another 3″ line to the side. Stations 8, 29, and 24 are activated.
11:07: Stations 3, 10 and 15 activated for tankers.
11:09: Every available tanker is to proceed into the scene.
11:11: Water established on Hooker Road.
11:12: Truck 26 out of water.
11:14: T-10 en route.
11:15: Control is to have multiple stations placed on standby for units operating, including Callensburg from Clarion to Eau Claire Station.
11:16: Station 12 alerted for the standby. Tanker 15 and BT-3 are responding.
11:17: Command is advised a second fill site is setup on Hallston Road now. Tanker 30 is instructed to setup a portable tank.
11:18: Chief 33 is requesting another 3 more tankers. E-33 en route. C-12 acknowledges the standby. T-8 en route. Rehab 29 en route.
11:20: C-33 is asking Control if Clintonville has gone en route yet. Control states they have not spoken with them directly but there is a patch on the radio for direct communication.
11:22: T-8 is on the road.
11:24: E-33-2 instructed to charge the 300(?). Units are being advised to “get back.” C-33 is asking for tankers from 1500, 77, and 85. Tankers only. Back of the building collapse.
11:25: Station 85 is en route.
11:28: Units to attack the funeral home due to exposure. 3 more tankers from Venango requested.
11:31: Access has been made to the funeral home. Negative extension to the funeral home at this time.
11:32: Superior EMS has been placed on standby. Water is needed to E-33-2. T-26 is approaching; they’re instructed to hook into E-33-2.
11:34: Water now needed to E-14.
11:35: T-8 is on scene. T-3 is approaching from the south, 3 minutes ETA. They are to hook into E-33-2, they still need water. R-3 will be the next suppression piece, they are to supply to E-14-2.
11:36: Vehicles need moved for the apparatus. Command is advised there are 4 tankers stacked on Rt 308, they can’t get around anything.
11:39: Rehab 29 and Tanker 3 are on scene.
11:41: Tanker 24 is on scene.
11:44: R-3 is on scene. E-33 is approaching from Hall Road. BT-3 is now on scene.
11:45: R-3 is now directed to send their manpower up to begin relieving people. Tanker 15 is on scene.
11:47: 2 occupants making their way out of the funeral home now. No heat, fire or exposure in that building at all.
11:48: L-26 instructed to hit the Bravo-Charlie corner.
11:50: There may be a gas line leaking. A unit just asked if anyone has shut off the gas.
11:52: 1546 is advising C-33 they have 10 men on-station; they are to move their Engine to Station 33. Someone is stating they have the 4″ line charged to the max.
11:53: Engine 37 is responding.
11:57: Command is advised Rehab is setup at the car wash. There are buses coming for warming, they’re going to try to get to a church(?).
12:04: Columbia Gas is needed to the scene. They gave Control a 1 hour ETA. Command apparently called them back to apprise them of the current situation.
12:04: The Catholic Church has been opened as a warming station.
12:08: E-25 is out of water, shutting down. They’re advised there are tankers standing by; T-35 is going to supply E-25.
12:09: E-14-2 instructed to charge one of their 2½” lines.
12:10: E-37 is arriving and is to stage out of the way; Command only needs tankers at this time.
12:12: A 55 unit is advising C-33 another water supply has been established.
12:13: Tanker 1542 is arriving on scene from Lawrence County.
12:14: L-10-4 is asking Control to have PennDOT respond to the fill site, 1 mile east of Dassa McKinney on Hooker Road due to road conditions.
12:23: Control is advising Errera’s towing is en route with fuel. Chief 26 is requesting his station be re-alerted and their Squad respond.
12:30: The Hallston Rd fill site is asking Command if the road can be closed to fire traffic only; Command states they’ll see what they can do.
12:31: Columbia Gas has just now reportedly completed their shut-off to the building.
12:35: Countywide fire police are requested to the scene.
12:40: C-33 is asking about getting an excavator to the scene.
12:47: Someone is stating an excavator will be brought in but they have to wait on word from the fire marshall.
12:58: Units are advised the major overhead electrical lines are being charged.
13:12: Lines at the post office are going to be shut down except for 1 possibly.
13:18: FP to close 308 at 138.
13:19: Ladder 26 needs the fuel truck.
13:21: Hooker Road will be closed near the fill site also.
13:40: The Hooker Road fill site is being broken down.
13:43: A pizza delivery has arrived.
13:46: Command is going to begin releasing out of county units first, soon.
13:50: Units are stating they’re starting to get fire again.
13:51: Tanker 10 states all Station 10 units are returning to station, in service.
13:54: T-24-2 is returning in service.
14:02: Captain 14 and Engine 35 are breaking away to respond to an Echo response on Mahood Road.
14:04: Manpower is being requested to help get hose gathered up to then move the portable tank.
14:13: Command is advised the excavator is on its way into the scene now. Rescue 3 and BT-3 are clear.
14:14: Tanker 28 is in service, returning.
14:15: Excavator is to proceed down Main Street and unload.
14:16: Units are to shut down and conserve water until the excavator is positioned; apparently all tankers have been released.
14:23: Tanker 24 was asking if they can be released and Command is releasing them but states some tankers are still needed at this time.
14:25: T-33 is reportedly still on scene. One tanker is frozen solid. They are being told to take it home.
14:27: All operations are to begin breaking down.
14:38: Tankers on the west side of the incident with the exception of T-8 are released.
14:42: Captain 8 is releasing Armstrong units from their standby.
14:47: The overhead powerlines are reportedly reenergized with no problems and the excavator is to proceed.
14:49: Control is asking Command if Tankers from Venango County can return and C-25 is releasing them.
14:50: Control is advised they’re good to clear the out-of-county radio patches at this time. Additional tankers are being released.
14:54: Personnel are needed on the Charlie side to assist with breaking down a portable tank.
14:56: T-34 is back in service, returning to station. Fire Police are stating a driver just told them he almost slid into an embankment, probably due to the water runoff from the incident freezing but that was not clear.
15:05: E-29-2(?) is clear and returning; Control is asking if Clarion can be notified to release their units from standby and the answer is affirmative.
15:06: Station 33 units are returning to station.
15:07: Stations 13 and 31 are clear of the incident. T-31 will be out of service.
15:08: Engine 12 has been released from standby for Station 13.
15:14: Station 14 units are clear of the scene.
15:29: Command had traffic come too far in from the north and is telling Fire Police units to back up another intersection.
15:30: The other FP unit states someone was supposed to be turning around but then drove past their barricade instead.
15:32: 56-1 has been released by Command. Control is asking if Superior is also clear and they are. Station 34 units are all clear of the incident now.
16:28: Station 32 units are clear.
17:04: Command is terminated. Station 25 will not be back in service until they advise Control. They state Control will get multiple calls on this and Control is to hold the 1st alarm on station for all further calls until Station 25 units can get on scene to investigate.
17:22: Control is advising Station 25 units PSP in the area believed the fire was getting bad again. They state they’re aware. Unclear if they’re responding.
