11:17: Stations 31, 32, 34, and 25 along with Clintonville, Mercer Station 85 and Superior EMS, alerted for smoke coming from a structure in the 700 block of Eau Claire Road in Marion Township. Passerby believes they saw smoke from what they described as Dave’s Garage, and it appeared to be closed.
11:18: Station 31 acknowledges the call. Lieutenant 25 is en route to his station. Superior Dispatch acknowledges the call.
11:19: Chief 34 acknowledges the call.
11:22: Tanker 31 is responding.
11:23: Tanker 32 is en route.
11:25: Tanker 25 is en route.
11:26: Chief 31 is on scene at the garage reporting nothing showing but there is possibly a wood burner active inside.
11:27: Engine and Tanker 34 are en route. C-31 is now confirming this is the wood burner; all units can return in service.
