01:59: Station 1 alerted for an automatic fire alarm in an apartment at 127 East Wayne Street in Butler City.
02:01: Engine 1-2 is responding.
02:02: Control is now advising a call from the premises is reporting an apartment on third floor is on fire. Tower 1 is reporting on scene with a 3-story structure and nothing evident from 3 sides of the exterior. E-1-2 is also arriving on scene.
02:03: Control states a second call reports the door to the fire escape from the affected apartment was found open and no one was found inside.
02:04: Command is requesting the call be upgraded to a structure fire response with smoke visible from the Charlie side.
02:05: Stations 3, 38 and 99 are added to the call.
02:06: 99-5 is assigned for the standby.
02:07: 99-5 is responding. Station 38 acknowledges the call. Chief 3 is responding to the scene.
02:08: Captain 3-2 is en route to Station 3-2. Engine 38 is en route.
02:10: Station 3-2 acknowledges the call with two firefighters on station.
02:11: 99-5 is on scene.
02:12: An individual is telling Captain 1-2 to advise when he’s ready for the line to be charged and is told to do so.
02:13: City units are requesting PD respond due to trucks running over their supply line.
02:14: Chief 3 is on scene. The fire is reported under control. E-38 is being instructed to make a connection to the hydrant.
02:15: Command is now instructing units NOT to lay a line from the hydrant; they won’t need it. Squad 3 and Ladder 3 are responding.
02:17: E-1 is requested to send a fan upstairs. Squad 3-2 is en route.
02:18: L-3 is approaching and is instructed to stage behind E-38 and send their manpower. S-3 is also in the area. L-3 now reporting on scene.
02:26: S-3-2 is on scene.
02:44: 99-5 and all Station 3 units are clear of the incident.
02:51: Command is requesting PD back to the scene for an unspecified reason.
02:54: E-38 is back in service.
03:16: Incident terminated; all units are back in service.
