11:38: Stations 42, 19 and 76 dispatched for an MVA on Route 228 near Fox Trot Drive, close to the veterinary hospital, reportedly involving a truck and a car. 76-2 is on scene with 3 vehicles involved and all occupants out.
11:39: 76-2 states traffic control will be needed and is asking if PD is en route; Control states they’ve been notified.
11:40: Engine 19 is responding. Second alert for Station 42.
11:41: 76-2 is advising one of the vehicles involved is a tractor-trailer.
11:42: Station 42 is reporting Engine 42-3 will be responding soon. Captain 42 acknowledges the call.
11:43: 76-2 is requesting an additional unit from their station to assist with getting patient refusals from everyone. Squad 76 is en route.
11:44: Control is advising E-19 that PD are closing Route 228. E-42-3 is now reporting en route.
11:47: Units are being instructed to close Route 228 at Heritage Creek Drive on one end and Myoma Road on the other.
11:48: E-19 is on scene at Heritage Creek to close the road.
11:52: A unit is requesting Oil-Dri be sent up. S-76 is on scene.
11:56: Captain 19 is en route to his station.
11:57: Cap-19 is asking Command what else they need; they are stating nothing else at this time.
12:05: 76-2 is transporting a patient, BLS, to UPMC Passavant Cranberry.
12:06: Squad 42 is on scene.
12:07: S-76 is back in service.
12:10: Cap-19 is on scene at the Heritage Creek Drive intersection.
12:15: 76-2 is out at the hospital.
12:16: A tow truck is reportedly coming through traffic control.
12:36: Units are advised there should be another tractor coming to pull the trailer that was involved.
12:55: Units are being instructed to reopen the roadway now.
12:56: Station 19 units are clear of the incident.
12:57: Route 228 Command is now terminated; all remaining units are back in service.
