Motorcycle MVA, Glade Mill @ Kennedy Ln

16:17: Stations 15 and 45 dispatched for a motorcycle MVA on Glade Mill Road at Kennedy Lane; the motorcycle is off the road and there are reported injuries.

Saxonburg FD and EMS dispatched for a motorcycle-involved MVA in Clinton Township.

16:18: Station 45 acknowledges.

16:20: Station 15 acknowledges the call.

16:22: 45-3 is en route.

16:23: Rescue 15 is en route; Lieutenant 15 is on scene.

16:26: R-15 is advised to park behind the command vehicle; the patient is down over the hill behind the guardrail.

16:27: The responding 45 unit is advised there is traumatic arrest. 45-3 is reporting on scene requesting orders.

16:28: Squad 15-2 instructed to shut the road down.

16:29: Station 15 is requested to send the Auto Pulse, they state they will be en route.

16:30: Squad 15 is en route, instructed to pull behind the rescue and bring up the Auto Pulse.

16:32: Chief 15-2 is asking Commander 45’s ETA. The response was walked on.

16:34: Squad 15 and Commander 45 are on scene.

16:40: 45-1 is nearby and asking if they are needed at this incident but they are advised they are not.

17:02: Traffic controllers have moved farther up and have the road closed at Sandy Hill Road now. There are tractor-trailers and triaxles passing through at this time.

17:03: Lieutenant 15 is asking FP where they are set up; they are at Victory Road, and Sandy Hill. Command is advising PSP has instructed no one is allowed to pass from the Sandy Hill / Spring Valley side.

17:06: Traffic control on the Sandy Hill side is attempting to get a tractor-trailer turned around in the church parking lot.

17:11: A homeowner close to the accident scene is at one end of traffic control; they are advising he can only walk down at this time due to the PSP request for no traffic.

17:36: 45-3 is coming through traffic control; they are en route to another incident at this time.

17:42: Traffic control had a vehicle sneak past the closure point.

17:43: The vehicle that got past is reportedly on its way back through now, as they were unable to get past the scene.

17:48: L-15 is advising traffic controllers that Sarver Auto is on scene at this time, maneuvering into position.

18:03: The coroner is approaching the scene now.

18:25: Traffic control is advising they have tractor-trailers stacking up but they are being advised they will be cleaning up shortly. The tractor-trailers are to all continue to wait at this time.

18:31: The coroner’s vehicle is reportedly departing the scene.

18:45: Tractor-trailers apparently continue to stack up, but traffic controllers are stating they should be done very soon.

18:46: R-15 is turning around now.

18:47: Sarver Auto’s wrecker is reportedly departing now.

18:50: R-50 is advising FP they may need to remain on scene with PSP.

18:51: Traffic still cannot fully reopen until some of the tractor-trailers get repositioned.

18:55: Glade Mill Road Command is terminated; all Station 15 units are clear and returning, in service.

18:55: FP are instructed to reopen the roadway.
