13:09: Stations 21, 42, 51, and Squad 98 along with Allegheny 185 dispatched for a tractor trailer overturned on I-79 northbound at the 77.4 mile marker in Cranberry Township. The driver is reportedly still in the vehicle at dispatch.
13:10: Squad 98 is en route.
13:11: Control is advising an additional caller has made contact with the vehicle operator, there is NEGATIVE ENTRAPMENT, and the truck is hauling paper.
13:12: Rescue 21 and Squad 21-2 are en route.
13:13: Units are advised to get on I-79 south and use the emergency turnaround.
13:14: 51-1 is passing southbound reporting a vehicle on its side blocking all lanes of traffic in the northbound lanes. They are confirming the driver appears to be out of the vehicle.
13:15: 51-1 is on scene.
13:16: Squad 98 is on scene.
13:17: 51-1 is advising fire units they will need a ladder to get the driver off the cab.
13:19: Rescue 21 is advising Station 42 units not to commit to the interstate at this time; they will advise if needed.
13:20: Rescue 42 is on location at 228 and 79.
13:21: Rescue 21 is on scene. Control advises Allegheny County has not received acknowledgement from Station 185 at this time, and they were to be re-alerted; R-21 states they can standby but they do have a 185 Squad truck behind them.
13:26: Rescue 42 is instructed to standby in the area to cover other calls.
13:34: 51-3 is clearing the scene; 51-1 remains on scene at this time.
13:35: Squad 98 is now clear as well.
13:38: 51-1 is transporting 1 patient to Mercy hospital.
14:01: 51-1 is out at Mercy hospital in Pittsburgh. There have been no other updates from the scene at this time.
14:03: Traffic control units are stating the tow truck is inbound at this time.
16:29: Rescue 21 is reporting clear of the interstate and releasing Station 42 from standby.
