12:14: 99-5 assigned, responding. Checking availability of aircraft. Station 14 acknowledging, 1 man on.
12:16: Captain 3 stating they are on Route 8 still from the Fairfield Inn incident, asking if needed. Ladder 3 en route to the MVA.
12:18: Control advising 99-5 Stat 3 is on standby, 13 minutes to the mall (they are at their base, UPMC Cranberry); patient update – 24 year old male, conscious and alert, arm fracture, leg and back injuries. Rescue 14 en route.
12:19: 99-5 on scene.
12:21: 99-5 requesting Stat 3 be launched to the mall. Ladder 3 on scene. Rescue 14 will be handling the Landing Zone.
12:26: Rescue 14 reporting out at the north end of the Clearview Mall to establish the landing zone. Stat 3 has not yet departed their base.
12:28: Stat 3 is airborne from UPMC Cranberry.
12:31: The helicopter is passing over Callery Borough.
12:33: Aircraft is requesting the LZ brief; they are coming into Butler Township now near McCalmont Road.
12:34: The aircraft is now passing over Point Plaza.
12:35: Ground units report visual on the aircraft; they are orbiting to land.
12:36: 99-5 reporting they are transporting the patient to the landing zone now.
12:37: Stat 3 appears to be on the ground at the Clearview Mall parking lot LZ.
12:38: 99-5 is out at the LZ.
12:45: 99-5 reporting Stat 3 will be en route to UPMC Presbyterian.
12:46: Stat 3 is now airborne from the Clearview Mall.
12:47: Rescue 14 reporting Station 14 units are back in service. Control checking if Station 3 units are back in as well. 99-5 now reporting back in service. Station 3 units state they are remaining on scene for traffic control.
12:48: Station 3 units reporting they have been cleared by PSP at this time.
13:01: Stat 3 is arriving at the UPMC Presbyterian helipad, Pittsburgh.
