I-79SB MVA, Rollover, 79.6 MM

22:56: Stations 21, 22, and 51 alerted for an MVA on I-79 southbound near the 79.6 mile marker. Reported 2 vehicles, with rollover, back on all fours. Rescue 21, 51-1 en route.

Multiple stations alerted for a rollover vehicle accident on Interstate 79 southbound.

22:48: Chief 22 and Rescue 22 en route.

23:00: 51-3 en route as well.

23:01: Chief 22-2 on scene reporting 2 vehicles in the median, there is a Guardian Angel (West Mifflin) ambulance already on scene. Investigating.

23:03: Squad 21 en route.

23:04: Rescue 21 approaching and instructed to setup as a blocker. Now reporting on scene.

23:05: Engine 21 en route. Rescue 22 approaching instructed to assist with patient care at this time. Fire Police instructed to setup to shut down the fast lane.

23:06: 51-4 instructed to meet up with Guardian’s crew member. Now reporting on scene.

23:07: A patient count was requested and an unidentified unit is reporting possibly 3 or 4 patients.

23:07: Fire Police 21-2 instructed to stage as early warning near the 80 MM just past the old weigh station.

23:10: Engine 21 and Squad 21 were put back in service by Command.

23:11: Squad 21 states he was pulling up, Command still instructs him to return to station.

23:12: 51-3 on scene.

23:15: Fire Police stating family members are at his vehicle currently.

23:17: The family members are being permitted up to the scene at this time.

23:20: 51-4 en route with 1 to Allegheny General Hospital.

23:29: 51-3 is back in service reporting 1 patient refusal.

22:30: I-79 Command asking 51-3 to return; the pediatric patient’s mom left her phone in their ambulance.

23:38: 51-4 out at AGH.

23:53: Fire Police reporting the 2nd vehicle has been loaded onto a flatbed.

23:56: I-79 Command terminated, all Station 21 and 22 units back in service.
