Electrical Smell in Residence

13:36: Stations 27, 36, 15, and 45 alerted for a possible electrical fire, 140 Pasture Crossing Drive in Buffalo Township. Caller reported they heard popping and now have an electrical smell in the residence.

13:39: Control checking with Alwine Command (Chief 15) for acknowledgment; they state they are sending their Rescue back to the station to get their Engine.

13:40: Second alert for Station 36.

13:41: Control notifying Alwine Command they are attempting to reach EMS, checking their status at that incident. Command states they’re still tied up, send the fire to backup. Engine 27 responding.

13:42: Control notifying Engine 27 that Engine 15 will be en route shortly but there has been no acknowledgment from Station 36.

13:43: Engine 15-2 en route.

13:45: Engine 27 on scene with nothing apparent from the outside, investigating.

13:46: Tanker 27 en route.

13:48: Brush 27 en route.

13:49: 45-3 answering for the fire call, stating they will be getting rehab supplies and then they will be en route. Command now stating they can standby in station; it seems there was a power surge in the area, they are investigating several houses now.

13:50: Engine 15-2 on scene.

13:51: Tanker 27 and Brush 27 on location.

14:13: Command terminated.

14:15: Engine 15-2 reporting back in service from Buffalo Township.
