14:31: Stations 11 and 99 alerted for a 2-vehicle MVA, unknown injuries, Pittsburgh Road @ Dodds Road in Penn Township. Vehicles reportedly still on the roadway. Portable 11 acknowledging, en route direct. Station 99 unavailable.

Penn Township Fire Department and Butler Ambulance alerted for a 2-vehicle MVA.

14:34: Station 11 acknowledging the call. Portable 11 on scene. Control checking with Station 99 if they have a unit en route; they state they requested it be turned over to the next available service.

14:35: Station 45 alerted, now reported there is a male with a head injury. 45-2 states they are also unavailable. Station 76 toned out.

14:36: Station 99 now reporting 99-3 is coming back into the county and will be responding to the crash with a 7 minute ETA. 76-1 checking if 99 is handling this now; Control states affirmative; they state they are also out of trucks currently.

Saxonburg Ambulance Station 45 and Quality EMS Station 76 alerted. Neither are available. Station 99 stating they now have a unit available.

14:37: Rescue 11 responding.

14:38: Control notifying 99-3 that Penn Township Police are requesting a helicopter on standby.

14:47: Command is asking Control to inform LifeFlight the ambulance will rendezvous with them at the Butler Airport instead.
