14:31: Stations 11 and 99 alerted for a 2-vehicle MVA, unknown injuries, Pittsburgh Road @ Dodds Road in Penn Township. Vehicles reportedly still on the roadway. Portable 11 acknowledging, en route direct. Station 99 unavailable.

Penn Township Fire Department and Butler Ambulance alerted for a 2-vehicle MVA.

14:34: Station 11 acknowledging the call. Portable 11 on scene. Control checking with Station 99 if they have a unit en route; they state they requested it be turned over to the next available service.

Butler Ambulance stating they requested the call be turned over to the next available service.

14:35: Station 45 alerted, now reported there is a male with a head injury. 45-2 states they are also unavailable. Station 76 toned out.

14:36: Station 99 now reporting 99-3 is coming back into the county and will be responding to the crash with a 7 minute ETA. 76-1 checking if 99 is handling this now; Control states affirmative; they state they are also out of trucks currently.

Saxonburg Ambulance Station 45 and Quality EMS Station 76 alerted. Neither are available. Station 99 stating they now have a unit available.

14:37: Rescue 11 responding.

14:38: Control notifying 99-3 that Penn Township Police are requesting a helicopter on standby.

Butler Control notifying the responding ambulance Penn Township Police are requesting air medical on standby.

14:39: Rescue 11 on location.

14:40: 99-3 asking for the nearest air medical. Control states LifeFlight 4 is on standby at the airport, asking if the ambulance will meet them there or if the helicopter is needed to the scene.

14:41: 99-3 requesting the helicopter land at the parking lot across from Hunter Truck Sales (519 Pittsburgh Road).

14:42: Control states LifeFlight 4 will be en route.

14:43: Control checking with Command if they copied the LZ will be needed. Command states that is received now. Control checking with Station 99 if they have another crew for a patient at this scene, altered level of consciousness. 99-7 is en route, BLS-only.

14:45: 99-7 on scene.

14:47: Command is asking Control to inform LifeFlight the ambulance will rendezvous with them at the Butler Airport instead.

Pittsburgh Road Command asking Control to notify LifeFlight the ambulance will rendezvous with them at the airport.

14:48: 99-7 requesting an ALS unit to the scene. Station 99 reports they are not available.

14:49: Control checking with Station 45, they are also unavailable. Station 44 alerted.

14:50: 44-1 is en route.

14:58: 99-3 is en route to the Butler Airport.

15:01: 99-3 is at the airport. 44-1 is approaching the scene.

15:08: 99-7 is reporting back in service, patient care has been transferred to 44-1.

15:10: LifeFlight 4 has not departed the Butler Airport yet as of this time.

15:14: LF4 is departing Butler Airport.

15:17: 44-1 is en route to Butler Memorial, ALS. 99-3 reporting back in service, patient care transferred to LifeFlight.

15:27: LifeFlight 4 is arriving at the helipad, Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

15:30: 44-1 is out at BMH. Pittsburgh Road Command terminated, all units back in service.
