14:59: 62-3 en route; Control informing them a male caller described it as an asphalt truck flipped over. Engine 21 en route. Control now stating it is confirmed at the 84.4 mile marker, northbound, bystanders pulled the female driver out; she is conscious but altered level.
15:09: 62-3 on location
15:10: Fire units arriving. Squad 98 on scene.
15:13: I-79 Command stating single occupant, now in the care of EMS. PennDOT will need a crew to respond due to the asphalt spill.
15:38: Fire Chief stating they can place Incident Ahead signs and clear the scene.
15:39: All fire units clear. PSP remains with the vehicle.
16:16: Station 22 toned out, Fire Police requested to shut down the northbound slow lane.
16:21: Station 64 toned out by request of PSP for evaluation of an assault patient at the 97.6 MM, I-79 northbound in Muddy Creek Township.
16:24: Zone 6 Fire Police toned out for traffic control while cleanup is in progress; requested to shutdown the slow lane.
16:26: 64-1 checking the location; Control states this was a domestic and there is an assault patient there for which PSP is requesting evaluation; 64-1 is en route.
16:28: Second alert for Fire Police. Fire Police 12-3 acknowledging the call, checking if Cranberry Township Fire Police are on the incident.
16:57: 64-1 transporting to BMH.
17:05: 64-1 stating PSP is following them to the hospital and their patient is now in-and-out of consciousness; they’re requesting Control inform the PSP unit they’ll be going lights-and-sirens to the hospital.
17:34: 64-1 is back in service. Fire Police units are still on scene with PSP.
18:01: Fire Police stating PSP needs all traffic off the northbound lane before Lindsay Road.
18:13: All Fire Police units have been released by state police.
